What has disappeared? The latest reports are literally stating that the clubs are still talking and a deal isnt far off. FFS modern day football fans have the patience of 2 year olds
exactly. nothing has disappeared. negotiations continue and there is optimism.
the "escalation" last night was due to a deal, that was believed dead and burried, now seems to be relatively likely to happen.

i still believe that he will start tonight and that worries me.

that "only 2m difference" argument is quite questionable btw, because it assumes that the payment methods and the bonus conditions have already been agreed.

yea but it goes from they are negotiating to they are still negotiating. And if its a minimal difference in whether 2m is included in bonuses or on the base fee, i dont understand why it would take so long to resolve it
This is real life and not football manager. Negotiations sometimes take time. There is actually quite a few things that might still have to be worked out (bonuses, image rights etc)...and no one knows how much the exact difference is either, its all guesswork at this given time.

Why would it be worrying if he starts tonight?

Yep. That worries me as well. If this deal isn't done by Saturday night, then its not happening at all IMO.

I dont even play FM so :D. I know but when these "negotiations" have been going on for like months according to reports it gets fucking annoying

IMO they havent havent been ongoing for months. I think we made our original "low" offer, which was obviously rejected by Heldt. And then we gambled on no team being interested in Draxler,as waited to get rid of a few players, and forced Schalke's hand towards the end of the window.

I'm pretty sure they know Draxler wants to leave and dont mind if he goes, but they want a good amount for him. So what I think happened last night, was we actually put in our second offer which was a lot better than our first one. Now lets hope its settled in the next 24 hours or so.

I think exactly the same but the rumors last night were really no different from the past ones. Like I mean how can we even confirm them? There were no curtain pics, or any smiles, like how can i fap to that?

well first of all i have to say that him starting tonight wouldn´t rule anything out for me. if the deal isn´t done or like 99% done by then he will definately start imo.
the problem is that
a) he could get injured and
b) he could have the game of his life.

Internet babies.

Nostradamus will be right in the end. I bet his ass that we will not sign this kid.
:D

Typical Beppe, calling Draxler: 'reject all other offers and I'll come back to save you'.
Beppe be like Wonderwall.

Only the injury thing is worrying but it could happen even if he were with us. I don't think having the game of his life might change anything in the course of negotiations but all in all I agree that it is better if he doesn't play, at least it will be a sign that he's leaving.

What time is their game? Will give us an indication, especially if he doesn't start. Either that or they'd play him to give him a farewell runout.
