Schalke Warn Juventus That Draxler Will Not Leave on Deadline Day

​Schalke sporting director Horst Heldt has admitted that Julian Draxler could yet leave the club, amidst interest from Juventus, but has said that the club's cut-off point for a move will be before the end of the transfer window in order for them to arrange a replacement.


Speaking to ​Sport Bild, he admitted that the club would have to consider an improved offer for the 21-year-old if one came in, but warned that they wouldn't wait for long.


"If another offer comes in for Draxler, we will take it into consideration. But we will not let go of Julian on the cheap. And it is clear that there will be a moment where we are no longer willing to sell. We will not wait for an offer until August 31. We have to think about our own planning, too."
