I hear this Charles Aranguiz guy from Chile is available. I also hear he is a beast, having never played in any of the top European leagues at the ripe age of 26

You are a $#@!ing bastard. First Gotze, then Draxler. Feeding us false hopes and dreams. I am never gonna trust you again :D :p
I fooled myself also :D
Not gonna get your hopes up but Lavezzi might want out because of Di Maria :p

Maybe Felipe Anderson could be available for 40M. But unlikely though. Lazio hasn't spent much money, they play CL, Lotito hates us and Marotta, their fans will riot if they sell to us.

And I'm not sure he could play as an AM either, mainly on build up play.

But I'd sure like it more than Draxler.

:klin: Not yet. Perhaps they get knocked out in the final qualifiers :D

Lazio sold us Nedved back when they were competitive, actually challenging for the title in those days. I doubt if we presented them with an offer of 35 million + bonuses and Isla (if he is interested in moving there) they'd say no.

I just wish we were like other clubs. Identify our targets without much fuss, don't leak too much shit to the media, go in and get the job done. Any time we are linked with any player with a semblance of quality, a saga ensues. It is fucking annoying and frustrating in equal measure.

Nobody wouldn't be a disaster, but an incredibly disappointing and underwhelming end to our mercato, especially after both Allegri and Marotta came out and said we are looking for an AM.

As things stand our mercato is a 4 in my book.
Dybala, Khedira, Mandzukic, Rugani is an underwhelming mercato, cause Pirlo retired and Tevez+Vidal wanted out ?

    K.

I would like a good trequartista alot. But what i dont want to sign, just to sign

You would go and trow 40mil on fucking Anderson. But you are exactly the guy that will go tell the entire world for decades once Marotta pays to much.

We need an AM, and if we don't get one, yes it is an underwhelming mercato. It is my fucking opinion, and I am entitled to it.

The market dictates price. Anderson is young and full of potential. How much do you presume Lazio will let him go for? 15 Million Euros? :howler:

Khedira is a solid purchase, if he can stay healthy. Rugani and Dybala are not proven, but full of promise. I don't rate Mandzu.

Pereyra can play AM if we must. Technically, Dybala could do that aswel. Dybala behind Morata and Mandzukic, compensated by both Marchisio and Khedira playing more holding midfield positions, with Pogba beeing free to press aggressively.

An natural, established AM would improve us. In Götze's case it would make us easely as good as last season, if not better in case of Pogba and morata further improving.

But above all, we need to make economical smart decisions. It brought us very far, won us many trophee's and accolades the past 4 seasons.
