Khedira in my opinion, is more like Marchisio. A complete holding midfielder that has technical class. Marchisio is more technically gifted and the better of the two, faster and slightly better overall.

Martinez is an aggressive defensive minded cdm. Like Mascherano. That truely excells in keeping form and tactical position at any time, but has a godgiven talent for anticipating when he can step out and attack the opponent.

David Luiz, is also aggressive, but has a questionable talent of usually timing it completely wrong, and getting humiliated by players who are actually good in 1v1.

Martinez is excellent in 1v1. I dont know any CDM that is so good in defending 1v1's.



if you can attack Iniesta countless times, and never lose the 1v1, considering Iniesta is the best cam in the world for a while now, then you can say that this kid is rare.

None of that matters, we wouldn't sign a player like him or Khedira to have them sit on the bench, as evidenced by Vidal's sale (not saying Vidal was sold because Khedira was brought in, but Khedira is obvious replacement).

None of that matters, we wouldn't sign a player like him or Khedira to have them sit on the bench, as evidenced by Vidal's sale.

We had Pirlo, Vidal, Marchisio and Pogba last season, for 3 spots. And we were very happy for that when Pirlo overdosed on whine and Pogba injured his hamstring.
Currently we have Pogba and Marchisio left. Khedira came free. Martinez would return the situation to last season, where we have 4 outstanding players for 3 spots, with Pereyra and sturaro as additional reserve.


So we perfectly could. However, mark was offcourse lying. And Bayern paid 40mil for him when they actually had a decent trainer. They wont sell him cheap, or could think off the future with a good coach, wich would obviously block a sale immediatly.
