Zach hoping for the Götze's and Martinez's of the world coming here. :touched:

It was just yesterday he was crushing the unrealistic dreams of the peasants and reminding them of our financial reality abd how others will outmuscle us in the market. :touched:
Götze and Martinez are two world class players, secondbest in their natural position, that are both beeing destroyed by their coach.
This is the type of player we could actually have a shot at.

Especially since Martinez is not flashy at all, so putting off brainless EPL teams+spain. Götze could have come here if the player wanted.

Easy, i'll summarise what i've said.

Its not unrealistic. Götze had his agent assaulting Guardiola in the media, and he was very unhappy at beeing used to Padoin. Players with such small erections arent as "versatile" as Padoin after all. So we approached and got an agreement with club and player about the numbers. However, Götze decided that he's too much of a bayern fan, and likes the abuse so he'll stay. Fair enough, he can get rekt. But we did had a chance.

Martinez, was extremely vital for Heynckens. But Guardiola is an assfart that doesnt use CDM's. CDM's that get the very epitome of his playstyle absolutely wrecked. Guardiola prefers to put lahm as a central midfielder, and bench Schweinsteiger, Gustavo and Martinez instead. It would be fair to think that Guardiola would want to get rid of Martinez. So it would be fair to think of him as an actual Vidal replacement, wich he kinda is. it wouldnt have surprised me or anyone if we would get linked to him if he wasent injured. We need a cm and Guardiola doesnt want Martinez, but wants vidal. Win win. (well, Vidal will suck there and Martinez would be insane here, but thats that).

So yeah, both would be possible at some point. Not this point, as Götze accepts more abuse and Martinez isnt pushing his way out yet.

well, I kind of agree on Goetze and Javi Martinez situation with Zach. Pep sees Martinez as a ball-playing central defender.
He's trying to turn do to Martinez, what he did to Mascherano.
The two best defensive midfielders of the past decane. Turn them into CB's, cause he doesnt like CDM's.

Can some team please stop that fucking madness

Well I would say he definitely has a very interesting and mostly unexplainable (to me) vision of what a CDM should be. He sees him more of a playing coach and he prefers mobility vs power and defensive solidity, but I guess this helps his tiki-taka passing system...

tbh @Zacheryah I've seen Busquets play CD for Barcelona too, so it wasn't Mascherano exclusive, but Mascherano was always 1st choice CB and his size was exposing him too much in the beginning. It was good fun.

Look what you just did @Mark

Nice story btw.You can mail this to some Tuttosport journalists. It would be on their front page.
Its not a story man. Its why Götze was possible (and we tried), and why Martinez could be possible.

However, Götze decided to stay and Martinez has been injured for a long time. Götze therefore wont come, and Martinez would be a gamble.

Beats me why he wanted Vidal then, UNLESS he considers Vidal as a defender. Wich he has been at Chile.

Marchisio, would make ALOT more sense, considering he's by far our best passer after Pirlo, simular to Busquets but plain better.

You need midfielders that can pass consistently for that kind of system. Not sure what he wanted Vidal for if that was the case.
