I don't make estimations based on reported or alleged figures, they are mostly nonsense, even now people are having a guess. It'll be the usual "we could have got him for just €2m more". I read that every summer involving at least one transfer.

This isn't about the we could've got him for the 2m more bs. It's about not letting it having come down to the last day allowing other parties in on this deal which was a market dynamic we should've been aware of at the time of selling the players we sold without a thought.
