A team that reached the CL final should aim to keep doing that and win it. In order to do that you need strategy and if your method was different then you should change your plans to fit that stature you reached. This applies to any business anyway, it's not rocket science

See, i get what you are saying jack, but our turnover is pathetic compared to teams who actually aim for that status. We cannot just go ahead and get lets say, aguero for tevez, mascherano/martinez for vidal, and verratti for pirlo.
We dont have the funds to back such spending now and especially in the future.
