Right. People running the club to I've lost count to how many titles obviously don't know more than the Vidalists here.
You can't have an argument from authority here. Ofcoarse they will usually know better than anyone of us do but that doesnt mean that they are always right and we are always wrong if we disagree with them.
We could have gotten more for Vidal. A player of this caliber in todays market can warrant a higher price. Maybe there was no one but Bayern interested who knows what happened. It is a surprisingly underwhelming figure regardless of the reasons behind it.
Buying Vidal at this price was a piece of genius from management.. the price we sold him at is meh. Not terrible but barely okay.
Isla was a shit show. Pirlo and Tevez was genius. Asamoah and pereyra were meh (like Vidal's sale). It happens.
What matters is that the club is growing. Whether some deals could have been done better is a different question. The fact remains that despite any inefficiencies, Juve has consistently surprised everyone in terms of growth for 4 years now. Barca has been run by clowns for years making terrible decision after another in multiple sales and purchases. (Eto sale, Ibra buy and sale, Dinho sale, Chygyrynsky buy, Vermalean, Song buy and sale) thats off the top of my head. Add to that corruption scandals and everything else. Yet despite all that they are easily the best team in this decade. Would they have been better have this money not been wasted.. maybe but regardless of all these mistakes they are still THE club to look up to and have grown financially and in football terms like no team ever did before.
