And you think the buyer will give us more money when there is no concurrence for him?

Provided the player requested to leave I don't see a single reason of keeping a low profile
So we should change our profile now and announce to the world that we are a selling club ?

You are going to complain about that too.

Obviously there is no reason to believe the foreigners would stay here long term(in the immediate future) but its best to keep realistic expectations and hope the Pogba sale extracts the best sum possible if he decides to leave.

No

When one player wants out and the board decided they are going to sell him THEN we should announce that we are selling THAT PARTICULAR PLAYER. Not that we are a selling club blabla reductio ad absurdum #beppedefenseforce narrative witchhunt BS

Your logic is so funny
Selling player x at first request, without "announcement" + bidding war = proud big club, not selling club FORZA JUVE
Selling player x by starting a bidding war, increasing the profit = OMG SMALLTIME SELLING CLUB MENTALITY

the result is the same, we sold the player. But we didn't apply the right strategy to gain most cash out of it

Vidal price was bit of a disappointment.

But my opinion is based on faith.I expect them to do better when it comes to extracting money out of big sales in the future.

I have very quickly gotten over this. Now onto the new season.

What if Vidal only wanted Bayern? Should we go against his wishes just to get a few more million? Come on

Well, why not?

Clubs don't necessarily look at what a player did his previous year, but how that players fits into how their club is built. You mean to tell me that Nando wouldn't have a field day out there with Real Madrid with Bale, Ronaldo, and Rodriguez feeding him passes and crosses?

I've been saying for ages and recently as of yesterday or the day before that he will do well with a team that has good wingers.

Its funny our best player went to the first team that came knocking and llorente has many teams after him.

Why does German media (and nostradamus) hate us so much?
I have no probs people mocking me or making jokes, but what I dont like is saying that I hate Juve or Italy. Hate has no place in sports or in my life in general. I have strong opinions about everything in football..about clubs, players, coaches, tactics etc and I stand for my opinions and most of them r well-thought-out, but besides that I m a nice guy.

TBO I think Juve have done an amazing job these last years and I can identify with ur policy and how u handled things and how u built ur team. Many smart deals that brought u back to the elite and I respect that. It reminds me very much, how Bayern where doing things before they became that superpower again. Smart deals combined with principles and hard work. But Juve have to go a little bit longer, before having that old days reputation back. One good year in CL doesnt make all the players change their mind, especially when the rivalry and dislike for Seria A is that high like in Germany.

...and yes, I m still convinced, that Draxler wont move to Juve and I ll write that here and that has nothing to do with me hating Juve, but that I apparently wanna be a smart-arse.

I don't want to sound like a homer here... but I could easily see Barca proposing a straight swap, Messi for Saponara next summer. I mean, thinking about it with a little more clarity, it's quite obvious that the next 10 years with 23 year old Saponara is better than just the next 5 years with Messi. I'd say odds are quite good he surpasses Messi's Ballon d'Or count by the end of his career, assuming the jealous haters from outside Italy don't hold him down with rigged votes.

I'd be absolutely devastated if we lose this prince.
bro, there is no way i would accept such a deal. i doubt Saponara would ask to leave to Barca, and we know Beppe wont sell him otherwise. i know Messi is better right now, but Saponara has the potential to surpass him, he will be competing with Pogba for multiple Balon dors in the future. Saponara is potentially the greatest Italian 10 ever, we shouldnt be giving him away at any cost.

im gonna tell you a story about Saponara but dont take it for granted, i am only telling what ive heard. i have a friend who has a cousin in France. that cousin of his was visiting Forli, the birth place of Saponara and thats where he noticed him in a youth game. he arrived at the game around the 65th minute and saw Saponara scoring an own goal, then another and another. he asked a guy near him about the score and the guy said its 4-4 and that Saponara scored all 8 goals. he then asked why the kid is scoring own goals, the guy replied that Saponara does it all the time, he gets his team a 3-4 to 0 lead, then scores a few own goals to make it more interesting and then scores a late winner. as they were speaking, Saponara dribbled past 8 opposition players, did an one-two pass with the post and kneed down to score a goal with his head. the cousin of my friend was amazed, he never saw anything like that in his life. even more when he later found out that Saponara is the lost grandson of Omar Sivori as the local people were saying. i cant wait to see him playing in our shirt. i wasnt this excited for a player in a long time, not even when we signed Pogba. the next great Juventus #10 is on his way :touched:

Yes no doubt we should look after our interest as a club not only his.

You know what's the real disaster IMO in this summer transfers so far, we'd started a trend were our players and their agents are taking this club lightly and simply toying with us.

It started with Tevez were he wanted to leave before even his contract expire to Boca (so made it happen as he wished) and now Vidal (perhaps him or his agent) pushes us to sell him to Bayern even though their offer is ridiculously low for a quality player like him (we bend over and accept that).

Next season when a club like Barcelona comes knocking on our door asking for Pogba, you know what's most likely to happen ?

They'll offer us a very low sum and they'll push us over to accept that offer (because afterall it's the player wish to only play there and we acted like a smart club where anyone who wants to leave can just leave we don't even bother to convince them to stay just like any reasonable club).

Juve's goal is to follow the Bayern model of financial stability, acquiring youth either through other clubs or through their own academies, and buying the occasional top player when one comes along.

Some of us have been saying this for several years now that this is the model that they want to follow. And there is nothing wrong with it.

I don't think anyone has asked you, but what is your opinion on the rumored 40 million for Vidal? Too much? Not enough? Fair market value?

Does the German media feel that this came to fruition due to Vidal's entourage reportedely meeting with Bayern ahead of time to come to a contract agreement?

We can't use Tevez's situation though. Agnelli said that Tevez asked to leave in jan

I believe you're a nice guy. But a lot of your posts kind of implies that Juve are pieces if shits compared Bayern, which makes us think that you're a total asshole. I admit that Bayern is still ahead of us now, but tone down on the fanaticism and show a bit more respect, eh? I actually like a fan of another team posting in this forum, it makes it more interesting.

The only #10 Draxler is getting is his lesbian haircut.
