I want Vargas if he gets back to any where near his best then we have a great LW for a reasonable price. Fiery character too and i like that, would bring a lot of energy to our forward line.

it doens't matter.

the 4-2-4 will fail and conte will switch to 4-3-3. mark my words. and giovinco owuld have been ideal for this.

giovinco is crap in anything that isnt a counterattacking game, or dead ball situation.

vargas on the wing against giovinco, who do you think will provide more chances, and who will be silenced all the game ?

the 4-2-4 has the potential to rape all the small teams. It's easier to control the ball against them and if we can do that, we'll have 4 players up front with Pirlo pulling the strings with more space around him because we have stretched the team wide. If we don't get caught on counters we have the potential to rack up alot of points in those games.

Against bigger teams we will need to adapt. But I don't believe any team should just play 1 formation all year, that's stupid.

spot on.

technically, a 4-2-3-1 is easely an 4-2-4 in attack, depending how you look at it.
