do not want...
Better places to buy players, especially considering the numbers suggested...
I'd rather fork over an extra 10 or 15 on a player who is reasonably certain to improve significantly...
The difference between good and bad purchases can be seen by comparing the performances of Atletico and Tottenham in recent yrs...

But think about this for a second, how many clubs out there who are willing to spend big on Iturbe ?

Personally I believe other than Roma there are not many clubs that are interested in the guy.

By the way I don't buy the news that milan are after him and if it's true then there is no way they'll willing to spend close to 20 mil on him. That's just bull shiit rumor invented by berlosconi media whenever we show an interest in any serie A player.
Even if it's only Roma it's already some competition. As for Milan you never know. It may be fake but knowing them it could be realistic interest. They always think about attackers and fill GK/defence/midfield with freebies. The thing is as for now it's what we can do. One more season of good performances of this guy and we can forget about him because EPL clubs will offer more. It's always like that: Sanchez, Cuadrado, Cavani etc. We're not in position to buy established players so we're going for promising ones this time it seems.

I wonder why we're not showing interest in Shaqiri though. Liverpool is close to him and reported price is 20m. He's a more established player with similar characteristics.

If he comes here for the rumored price he won't be treated as youngster, no way. He might not be a starter at first but he surely would be bought with purpose of him becoming one. It would be the biggest Marotta's transfer in terms of spent money.

Kakà will leave Milan and return to Sao Paulo - Gdm

Some reports say that they will save €8M from Kaka's departure and pay the first installment for Iturbe with that money .

We can't lose this race to Milan, any other club but them, please.

We'd be saving 8M+ in wages as well if we get rid of Vucinic and Quagliarella + their transfer fees.

C'mon Marotta…

Gdm's english writer " He has agreed to terms with both teams and would willingly join Milan "

Just yesterday or 2 days ago Kaka said he's not leaving and BB said they'll be happy if he stays.

Yeah Milan is a circus so you never know with them though.

If Iturbe prefers Milan over Juve then so be it. Maybe he's afraid of bench here. I can't see other reasons for choice like that.

Maybe it's a sign that he'll succumb to serious pressure or expectations.. In that case he can happily join Meelan
