Claudio Marchisio in 2019:
"I turned down a proposal from Jiangsu Suning in China. Was that influenced by the fact that they are linked with Inter? Of course, that was a factor. The link with this jersey did not allow me to make this choice in good conscience."

if he is kicked out from legend section which is understandable , why not also Edgar Davids too ? he went to Inter

Because David's is an actual legend not just of Juve but in the history of football and will always be remembered. You can't compare him to Cuadrado who is already forgetten before he has even retired.

Cuadrado was never a legend. Even if he didn't move to Inter.

Maybe because Edgar had a half season of loan spell at Barca before he joined Inter, which kinda mitigate fan's feeling?

But it's an interesting question to ask: How big a role does "a Juve player/staff joining Inter" play in determining his club status? Particulary those who had great performance as well as achievements at Juve that accord them a legend status.

If it's a red line that can't be crossed, then Peruzzi and even Lippi should be removed from legend section, which simply is not what it should be.

The recurring debates about who merits legend status on this forum every time a player leaves is ridiculous. There should be clear criteria for who deserves to join the ranks. Including any player who was a little likeable dilutes the legendary status of players like Del Piero, Buffon, Camo, Nedved and Trezeguet who really did something that merits the status. Criteria can be as complex or simple as one wants it to be, and can include a combination of factors like number of seasons, number of matches, trophy wins, etc. I am sure something workable can be created. If that is done, it then becomes a matter of numbers rather than a likeability contest, and we can avoid the recurring debates of rookie this, legend that.
