Anyway as an super offensive RB I thought he won't be bad and then he played there against Inter. I think we will have Cuadrado(replaced by Cancelo if he wants out/offer too good) MDS, and a CB(Barzagli/replacement) all with the possibility to play RB. From offensive to defensive options, if Allegri stays.
If he leaves things might change a lot.
Been on the Cuadrado RB hype train for a long time. He has all the attributes. Obviously his positioning will need some working on but he'll learn. Tbh the best 'attacking' full backs seem to suffer from this problem too so there's not much point in spending so much getting a full back with Cuadrados attributes when we already have him.
Much much prefer Cuadrado to some defensively OK offensively shit player like Darmian/MDS starting.

bruh, you told me we dont need Cancelo since we have Cuads, then i point out how Cuads never played RB with Max so he doesent exclude Cancelo, and few days later Max plays him there. now i need you to do me a favor. im gonna pretend this conversation never happened, then im gonna repeat again how we should sign Cavani, and i need you to tell me that we have no room for him, since we have Dybala. there is still time until the next game, we can make it

It's either a miracle or some couldn't see it...
Dybala will never play a proper CF, since we aren't Barca and even for them he lacks physical presence. Unfortunately his place comes at the expense of a midfielder, perhaps he can work on stamina and do 60-70 mins of a proper RW/RWF role.
I will say it again Cuadrado and Cancelo are useless in the same lineup, even more so than Dybala and Messi - if only because the latter are better players.
If Cuadrado leaves for 20-ish M then Cancelo is a no-brainer.
PS: For Dybala to play CF, he has to go left or right and we have to have someone like Mandzukic/wide-man to go for the crosses. Imho we loose too much on the natural qualities required for those positions in order to get some truly hard to find specific abilities. Dybala might play CF, if CR7 wants to be his winger (0% chance).

1- We do not take much chances as headers anways.. so theres no problem in trying dybala as a false 9. If we were a team which crossed like heaven and had someone like Dzeko scoring everygame from crosses,,,then i would agree with you.
But we RARELY score from crosses nowadays, and our gameplan while it seems to be cross galore...we dont even score much from it and more from other situations.
Even with Mandzukic on the field, we ae not a cross goalsscoring machine. So use dybala there, if we want to keep dybala and use him to his strenghts, thats the only way. Otherwise play him as a pseudoTreq another year, or a not so good winger and devalue him even more before being inevitably sold next year. I prefer to give him a go at it and then see if he can, rather than not giving him the chance. I have seen enough of Higuain to see what he can and what cant do. Dybala still has potential.
2- Why Cancwlo who would be super expensive? when we have Cuadrado who still has some good years on his leg to play that wing.
We save precious moneyfor the midfield big buy, we continue using Cuadrado who is ours, profit.
PD: Dybala doesnt need a CR7 to work as a CF

It's not about giving a go, and it shouldn't be about his value either. We want to win the biggest thing there is to win and we are agonizingly close. To do it you need a team firing on all cylinders. We won Tottenham tie with a header(expression, Dybala would never reach there), Inter-tie ....
If you have a midfield of Xavi, Iniesta and Pirlo you can probably play JoeVinco on top, keep the ball on the grass all the time and still score plenty of goals. We aren't that and even Barca tried to improve. A short CF has to be a freak (Romario), even more so than a short CB. I always prefer strong CF's, because their main job is not dribbling 3 guys, scoring a free kick or even linking up play, but putting pressure on defenders and the ball in the net. Obviously then you have the R9 best-ever, do-it-all range, but again power is essential.

I understand your logic behind the CF issue... and while i agree with it, this is what we have been doing all this years.
Im not against a strong CF, but there arent many. Also. this is all about keeping Dybala, because i think he can do great here and turn into a scoring freak, otherwise we will have to sell him because i dont see him being successfull in a 433 unless he changes a lot of things and turns into a superb winger.

Perhaps SMS can arrive late in the box, but Dybala would have to fight for balls over the top. He doesn't have the speed and power to hold it for that... He is a flawed no.10 and I love him and hope he stays, but he HAS to improve.

Sorry, but that's how I see it man. Either prepare another workhorses like Nedved/Camoranesi for the wings, along two DM's to facilitate our No.10 or he has to change his characteristics.
Maybe Max can mask it into a 433 with a proper midfield, but one of those FB has to be (as usually is) a CB(Barzagli) covering for Dybala on the right. We just loose too much options. Will SMS/Pogba-Can-Pjanic solve it? I doubt it tbh. A very fast CB on the right side of the CB pairing can help and we don't have any!
