He offers unpredictability and creativity and his work rate is outstanding. I agree his end product isn't great and that's why I think we should get Berardi to complement his skills. They would both get plenty of opportunities. We need more wingers if this formation is here to stay.

That assist to the disallowed goal was freaking insane

Pjaca is Cuadrado's stand in. Berardi is Interbound

What gets overlooked with Cuadrado is how clutch his goals are. Probably because he really doesn't seem like a clutch player, with him not being a very effective player at all when it comes to end product.

But his goals, though few, are virtually always extremely important.

Just look at this season against Lyon & Inter, or last season against Torino & Bayern.

I am starting to think it is not consistency but it's his style, he keeps on doing it over and over again until he eventually does what we expect him to do and he will not do it several times in one game.

Pure electric. Wonderful display and that tackle where he knocked it back to Neto was just super grinta. This man has what it takes to become a legend.

Taking Licht off was a masterstroke, he was playing badly. Cuad's instantly attracks 2-3 defenders to close him down the moment he gets the ball. You don't need to do that with Licht because he isn't threatening at all in offense and you can almost just cut off his angle and wait for him to pass back. Cuad's makes you think twice.

Great sub Max

It wasnt a masterstroke.. it was painfully obvious he needed to take out licht as a wingback. Was his mistake in first place to put him there in that formation

It was a set of balls rather than masterstroke. When your 1-0 down and licht is on yellow, it's time to make a statement. Allegri did just that. What a positive guy!
