You think if we fully signed one of our best additions in Cuadrado would be panicking? :D

He is a right winger but cant use his left foot?
He doesnt shoot well with it, but uses it in general otherwise. You take players for what they are, expecting him to shoot well with his weakest foot is wishful thinking for this type of typical right winger.

but he doesnt shoot well with his strong foot either. what's the use?

in fact how many goals has he scored? 0 how many assists? 0 how many goals reslted from his dicrect play? only one and you can argue it was morata making something out of nothing as opposed to brilliance on cuadrado's part

His end product is a very big problem. You have guys who don't score often, but still leave their mark and are important for a team. I believe that. But your most important player is always going to be the guy who scores 30 goals a season. If you're an offensive player and you offer almost nothing in terms of goals, that is a problem.

He is a winger, not a goalscorer, aslong as he adds to our offensive game in other ways but goals he is fine player to have in the team.
Wingers for big teams often score 10-15 goals a season though. You even have wingers who end up being their club's top goal scorer.

This what worries me. For being our major offensive reference on the mid of the field.. he creates almost nothing from the amount of successfull dribbles he does. At the begginign he caught me on the ype train.. but with the pass of games...we are starting to feel the lack of offensive output from him. He can dribblle all he wants but if he cant finish the play, in the form of a goal or constant assists.... its of little use.

Add to that that our goalscorers are MIA...and we have a problem.

At this point.. im not really sure if all the blame goes on him, because the strikers are playing a big part in our lack of goals. Now that we got almost the full team, by winter we will have a a clear idea of where is the fail happening.

I wouldn't buy him for 22M. He doesn't fit our team unless he plays RWB. I don't like him in a prominent attacking role really. As a wingback sure.

Unless you Callejon or a top top winger (who are more or less forwards now...), regular good wingers arent supposed to score that much. Robbens, Sanchez, Hazards, Mullers and et all besides being top class, barely play as wingers and are more or less forwards.

Its better of you complain bout his end product in terms of does he create enough? Instead of expecting guranteed 15 goals or so.

I don't expect a guaranteed 15 goals. I'm just saying he does not score a lot. And he doesn't assist an awful lot either. And I do think a winger's statistics are important, because in the end it's their dribbles, their crosses that should decide games. I was completely awe struck with Cuadrado's performance against City, but this is something he needs to work on imo.

You're right in saying that he doesn't fit into the Robben/Ronaldo/Sanchez category though. Sanchez and Ronaldo are practically forwards, while Cuadrado is practically a fullback at times.

The fact that we brought in one winger is panic. Had we brought in Cuadrado and someone on the left side or kept Coman it wouldn't have looked as panic as it is now. He is indeed a great addition but him alone strikes me as a weird signing. Actually him and Hernanes on the last day is just mind blogging.

Either buy him and buy another player to complete a formation with wingers, 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 or not buy him at all and buy in a more useful Trequartista than Hernanes. So no him and Hernanes are panic buys and make absolutely no sense.
