He tends to favor tricksters, and considers him "one dimensional" and "black krasic", based probably on half a season at chelsea
So the lad contradicts himself, without knowing?

Cuadrado at fiorentina was ripping serie a
Sure, but some people have very short memory. Though to be honest his last (half) season was not as good.
Not that he was playing in his best position, of course.

Cuadrado is not like Krasic in the sense that his best weapon is to hopefully run faster than his opponent. Just because the two are both wingers and are both fast doesn't mean they necessarily have the same kind of game or skill level. Cuadrado has a little flair and energy to his game that Krasic either didn't have or didn't do as well.

I feel like Cuadrado is a good addition and adds something edgy and spontaneous to club...especially one that is used to "old reliables" like we are. Guys who get the job done most of the time and aren't big risk takers. Cuadrado is a risk taker and I'm OK with that.

This isn't going to be a side that is as consistently solid as the squads we have had in recent history. Don't mind the risk for the addition.

He isn't a solution but he could easily be a piece to the puzzle. Small risk with this deal too...worst case scenario is he stuggles to get prime minutes and we offload him. On the other hand, he could easily find a way to score 7-10 goals with a number of assists as well while helping us win the toughest season we've seen since our multiple title run.

Krasic was amazing until the second legs kicked in and everyone figured out how to play against him. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Krasic has the only hattrick for us in the past like 6 years. I think that was against cagliari

Seriously, where is this coming from? Is it a cool thing to say these days or what?

It's one thing to say that about Lennon for example, but Cuadrado is not that type of player.
I've never been a fan of him, even in Serie A days. He's too unbalanced to be a starter imo, but he brings valuable characteristics to the squad: dribbling, 1x1, flair, aggressiveness, pace.

But I always thought he's some kind of improved Gervinho or Salah. Bad finishing/passing, poor vision.
