This really... He should've started or at least been subbed in immediately after the 1-2. Allegri made a crucial mistake here...
He is shid.. alves produces 1000 chances mroe than him
We simply cant count on our bench.

Not really his fault. The whole team was $#@!, and the game was already lost before he came on. We should've attacked more in the 2nd half, putting more pressure on Real, considering that both Carvajal and Ramos picked up yellows in the 1st half.
Just sell him. no excuses

well, not really..buy better guys so we have a good excuse to not see him in the starting 11 or even the bench

He is not good enough. I dont care about the red. Cuadrado would never start for Barca, Real or Bayern. Think about that. I almost feel like we wasted money here. We did earn a lot this season in CL so i hope its not end of world. Cuadrado is serie a level player but not CL winning team level. Need to go and buy wc upgrade.

Of course not lol.

Those teams are CL contenders every year. And they dont consider players like that. If we want to WIN the CL, we shouldnt be spending money on players like Cuadrado at this stage. But we just did. And it doesnt get better even if we now go and buy some mega star for start. Next season, Cuadrado comes from the bench then if we buy a new RW. Meanwhile Real has super quality players/difference makers from bench (wasnt even needed saturday Bale, James, Morata)

God i wish we still had Morata. Imagine if we could have brought Morata on from bench on Saturday instead of Leminas and Cuadrados.

Cuadrado is a very useful player and don't see anything wrong in getting him. This all seems a huge hyperbole again after a couple of underwhelming games. Overall this season Cuadrado played his part brilliantly.

When it comes to benches of other top teams Real obviously has brilliant depth but don't see many better attacking players on Barca's or Bayern's bench.

Mandzukic was supposed to be our great Sub, but he ended up starting this season. I think a lot of you are being a little harsh in terms of the quality of our team. We're arguably the second best team in Europe atm, just need to keep hold of our best players and buy more quality.

Don't forget cuadrado wonder goal against lyon

We might not have made it out of the group if not for him

That game had gone to shit after lemina send off and we didn't look like we were going to get anything out it

It's easy to blame a player after a bad stretch of games but look at his overall season and he has been good signing for the money. Especially how the deal is structured financially.

You have to take the good with the bad with all players

Juan is no exception. He's been super clutch with vital goals and assists:

2015: goal against Torino which arguably started the team's march towards an epic comeback to win the league
2016: game winning assist to Morata in the Coppa final against Milan
2016: Saved us pts w/ his goal against Lyon in the group stage

Forza Juandrea

The biggest problem with him is he is not consistent at all.

In Camp Nou for example he got behind their back line so many times and always made the wrong pass or decision in the final third.

Against Genoa's and Inter's you can get away with that but at the highest level you need to deliver consistently especially in a final which is just one match.

If you could somehow put Dani Alves brain in Cuadrado that would fix the problem

As of recently, so are we.

This is my point. People here bail him with his clutch goals. Fine i loved those too.

But like Vialli said, and i cant stress this enoug...cuadrado IS RANDOM and limited. One day he is WC, the other day he is making all the wrong decitions and killing plays.
He masks his shortcomings because he is indeed very fast and has a quick dribble to his right which ridicules defenders sometimes...but once he goes beyond that point...he doesnt know how to finish plays.

He ends in a sticky situation:
On one hand he is forced to make crosses....but he is not good at shooting in any way, so most of them end all over the place.

If he decides to keep the ball, then he starts wasting time trying to dummy the defender he has in front and letting the enemy team rearrange the formation...losing all the advantage he got with the previous dribbling/run. Then proceeds to do a complicated pass to dybala or whoever is near fully marked.

If he decides to cut in and shoot, we go back to square one: He is right footed but he is forced to cut in and shoot with his left. Since he is no left footed he obviosly prefers to use his right foot...but then again, he is not good at shooting and most of the time is a spray and pray shoot from a tight angle, easy for the keeper to predict.

I really like his speed and above everything..his cheeky dribbles.... but when he gets to the 3/4, is annoying as hell and makes you wonder what could have been if we had a player with insane end product there.

There's not any problem with him, we bought him cheap and a sveral years payment agreement so it was a no brainer

Now we obviously need a better winger and JGC could be a great sub option
