Martinez fit, and on the leftwing, could significantly improve our game
i'm shure del neri will be able to work him in the required role, and considering his workrate today, he will be able to do the defensive duties.
Now these points, marchisio allready covers, the real interesting thing is when it comes go going forward.
1)I think we all know, each game krasic is doubled up by 2 players,. In fact, its 2 players and one of the central midfielders.
2)The opponent just shifts right because we got nothing on the left, this is also why you see so many passes from aqua to the left, there is alot of space.
3) all other creativity came from the center, notably beeing aquilani, and the deceased quag.
Now, if we have a winger, that presents an offensive treat somewhere close to krasic, the opponent is forced to also double him up, leaving much more room in the center of the field.
This will effectively open up the play, and it will be pretty hard to mark krasic out of the game, if they do, the other winger will have a blast.
I hope martinez can be that winger.

Very impressive? Now I missed the second half against Bari but that video doesn't show a very impressive performance. Great hustle though, always good to have strikers who can win the ball back. He'll probably pick it up
