I hope this is just another kind of Pepe deal, loan with option to buy.. I actually like this guy play for us but to become our starter and for 12m cost, i wouldn't buy him. And what Marotta is thinking if he buy 2 hard-workers winger, we don't just need hard-worker wingers but also winger that can cross, creativity, pace, flair ->Krasic, Ozil, Dos Santos

Have you see Dos Santos play for Mexico? and in Barca? I don't say he is a magnificent player but he might be a cheap option as he is not used well in Tottenham and still young while he is a key for Mexico NT and touted as a good talent while in Barca

I've been thinking the same. What the hell happened to him when he left barca anyway? I thought I would never see him again.

Fabio Grosso was a key full-back for the Italian NT. And yet when we signed him last year he wasn't even starting at Lyon (for good reason, we soon found out). That Dos Santos' most successful club performances since his time at La Masia were with Ipswich is all that needs to be said. He hasn't exactly made a mark at Galatasaray this season, either.

International football is worthless when it comes to judging a player's club potential (so anybody optimistic about Pepe after his motm performance against Paraguay shouldn't be). There are people in Italy who to this day try to diminish Ale's accomplishments because his performances for the Azzurri were never on the same level as his performances for Juve. If a player like Dos Santos is able to have such an impact for his NT but isn't even a starter at his club in Turkey, then that says more about the quality of international football than it does the talent of the player.

Looking at hist stats for last 2 season with Catania, i doubt he is a winger that do cross.

He is more like a winger that cut in to penalty box, becasuse his goal rate definitely more higher than assist rate
:agree:  That's why i said he should play as a Second Stricker, and leaves the left wing to our beloved Seba

Okay then, i don't watch Turkish league so i believe your assesment then for Dos Santos. My point in my first post is only point out how we need a wing who can be fast, provide a cross, has flair which is shown by Dos Santos while he is played in Mexico NT since qualifier and this WC.. The main point of my opinion is not about Dos Santos, i just point him as alternative

Compared Grosso with Dos Santos is really different. I never impress with Grosso even since his Perugia, Palermo, Inter, or when i watched Ligue 1 occasionaly.. But when i watched Dos Santos in Barca, he is a good talent and player. And his performance for Mexico in WC qualifier and 2 games against South Africa and France made me remind him again

How come he isn't at the world cup?
How come Ronaldinho isn't at the world cup?

How come Pato isn't at the world cup?

How come J.Zanetti isn't at the world cup?

How come Cambiasso isn't at the world cup?

How come Nasri isn't at the world cup?

How come Benzema isn't at the world cup?

How come Benarafa isn't at the world cup?

How come G.Rossi isn't at the world cup?

My dear,in this WC millions HOWs can be asked,so better don't ask n just watch.
Coaches are just ruining WC.
Everything is bad about this WC:few stars,few goals,low attendance,no football atmosphere,Vulvazena,Jabulani,robbery and...........................................

No doubt,This WC is high contender for the worst WC ever along with 2002WC.

Yeah, where did that come from.......its not like Juventus has given us any reason to doubt their competence in signing new players. They always make great deals, which really prove themselves, and which helped Juve finish 2nd place last season....
past is in the past , this is a new season , we got some new people in charge , let's wait a bit and see what can they do instead of moaning at almost every thing they do , that's all i'm saying

Is he even reliable enough defensively for a 4-4-2? Why do I have a feeling that this guy isn't signed to play as a winger but more as a second striker which makes him...hmm..Del Piero's heir?

Orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

A LWF in a 4-3-3?
You think? I think Del Neri is sticking with his 4-4-2 in the beginning at least and since we're not signing a new SS, maybe he is our new SS?

I find it strange though that nobody from our club, him or his agent still haven't said anything about all of this. I remember Martinez a few days back talking about Lazio when he was on his way to them and you'd think he would have said something about us at this point.

This is what I thought too.. Martinez is not used to the wide midfield position in a 442... I would suppose he will be used as a SS in 442 and a LWG in a 433...
