You obviously don't know the meaning of worst.

The Seccos of the world should be able to guesstimate how well a signing will play, fit in, and perform. They should not necessarily be as clairvoyant about injury. By that logic, Del Piero was one of our worst in 2003-2004.

Juve to sever Andrade ties Tuesday 16 September, 2008

Juventus are close to agreeing a contract rescission with Portuguese international defender Jorge Andrade.

The 30-year-old joined the Bianconeri from Deportivo La Coruna last summer, but he broke his left rotula at the start of the 2007-08 campaign.

Just as he was nearing a return to fitness, Andrade damaged the same kneecap during pre-season training and was sentenced to another lengthy spell out of action.

Juve have decided to offer to buy out Andrade's contract to ensure that they don't have to pay the injured stopper's wages until the expiry of his deal in June 2010.

The signing of Andrade has backfired badly for the Old Lady, who have invested over £8m and seen very little in return.

I see us buying a CB in January/July.

If we are to go for another CB i'd hope that Zapata or Santacroce would be at the top of our list..

I feel very sorry for Andrade. He was a classy defender some years before. It's realy bad he has to end his career in such a way. The few matches he played last year he was very good...

I think our January transfer market will be great. I think we will get another DC and if we manage to sell Tiago, i see us getting another miedfieler too. Tiago and Andrade are 2 of our highly paid players. Especialy if we are through the next round of champions league, i 2 great reinforcements coming...

The problem is many of them are/will cup-tied, most likely including Zapata, Felipe, Santacroce, Hamsik, Aquilani, Xabi. The only likely CB in January looks Ivanovic.
