The surgery went well. It lastde for about two hours and went without problems. Jorge will stay in Marseille for some more days, and the will come back to Turin to start physiotherapy.

The Juve medical staff warns that Jorge won't be back on the field before at least five months.

Yup, agi.it says the same :

(AGI) - Turin, Sept 26 - According to schedule Jorge Andrade has undergone surgery at Marseille's Clinique Juge for last Sunday's injury at the left knee in Rome. Juventus has reported that professor Jean Pierre Franceschi carried out a osteosynthesis of the knee by introducing a bone fragment. The kneecap was revised but there was no need of reparation interventions. The intervention lasted approximately 2 hours and was monitored by Juventus doctor Michele Gemignani. The operation turned out to be successful. Andrade will remain in the hospital for a few days before returning to Tutin where, according to schedule, he will start physiotherapy. He will not be able to play again before 5 months.

Good news that the surgery was a success.

5 months sounds about right too. Figure 6-8 weeks for the bone to heal, then another 4-6 weeks physiotherapy, then 4-6 weeks training at increasing intensity.

We all figured February/March, and it looks like that's what we're gonna get. At least it means he should at least be back for the last push of the season.

Now lets say his injury was only for one month and he is fit again by now, is Jorge a certain starter anymore?

I would certainly pick Chiellini (I would dare to say he is already a better CB) and The born again Legro (Not an inferior CB on terms of quality, just look how he performs when he is confident) ahead of Andrade now. Not to mention the possible Ivanovic deal in January.

Everybody rate Tiago as the most disappointing transfer of the summer, as for me, considering his famous injury history and shaky performance at the start of the season I would hand this label to the other Portugese.

Andrade would walk straight back into starting line-up, not because of Chiellini & Legro, but because we're weak at LB, so GC would have to slide over.
