Andrade has looked shaky and nervous, IMO. But for some reason he's playing too far upfield with an untested newbie (Criscito) holding the fort at the back. I'm nervous. I don't know if that's a coaching problem or Andrade is being a rogue.

And while Andrade has looked shaky, I've seen more goals against this season made at the expense of Criscito's play than Andrade's play, so I don't know where that's coming from.
yep :agree:

u're right but that is because it is a completely new defense...if they get time to gel together i think they could do well for us...perhaps they will be enough for this season only time will tell...and  for Salihamidzic as starting RB i think he will prove to be a great signing!
actually I really like Brazzo as a Rb,he is solid defensivly & he has great potentials offensivly but his big problem is being kinda naive,I think in the near future he could cost us penalties & maybe red cards,I dont feel he thinks a lot before acting but until Grygera comes back from injury,I think Brazzo should be our regular RB.
As for Andrade he has the potential of being a good defender, not a world class one but he could the job,he just needs to calm down & focus on the game & try to talk a lot with Criscito & Buffon!!

the only thing I liked about Criscito so far is his Spirit,he is plaayin with his heart & thats a rare quality,I think he has a LOT to learn but I have a good feelin about him.
Lets give him a chance & if he started screwing up then bring chiellini or Grygera as a CB!

Yeah, but spirit doesn't stop goals I'm afraid. That's what we're going to need. :pint:

I am no Criscito expert, so I hold my judgement here.

But purely from defensive vantage point, Andrade was far more solid than Criscito last match. Criscito missed his marking assignment couple of times, and one of them was Rossini's free header, which he should have scored. Just to put matters straight, I like the kid. I think he is a fantastic player for his age, rarely got beaten off the dribble, but like every kid, he got much to learn, which to be fair, will be fun part of watching him this year.:)

That goes without saying.

One is an experienced and well-known defender in his own field and country while
One is a young lad that has a lot of potential to become the best

And the good thing is, they can only get better and better

There will be games when we have our backs against the wall this season, and Andrade, will lead by example. He is a class defender who will give his best for the team.

Our best signing of the summer.

Haha, what are you on about mate? Andrade is playing at nearly his full potential.
What I am sayin is Andrade even at his full potential will never be(cannavaro, nesta, terry etc..) but he is a very good defender & he can do the JOB this season!
One more thing when Andrade was at his best with Deportivo in (03 & 04),he had Nour el Dine El Naybet playin beside him & he was learning from the experienced Moroccon every game & in a lot of matches EL Naybet covered his mistakes,BUT now with Juve he is supposed to be the experienced player, the leader of the defence & he has to cover for Criscito's mistakes so it will be much harder for him!

u r giving waaay too much credit to Naybet...Andrade always was the better defender and if he was making sooo many mistakes he would have been replaced...no top team allows a CB to play for that long if he is so error-prone
