Thanks. Some people here enjoy putting the blame on (make fun of) certain players on un-existing basis. The same thing about Boumsong - he is not world class, we know that, but he joined us in Serie B and is happy to play for us. And I must add (except of the several dreadful mistakes he made) he is not that bad.
:agree: true its the same with boumsong who was the only player that wanted to join us in the summer, and i must admit he is not as bad as he is made out to be

I disagree. You cannot say Balzaretti and Chiellini had better previous couple of seasons than Zebina when Chiellini and Balzaretti joined us last season. Check your facts.
I know that Balzaretti and Chiellini have spent just one and half season with the team so far. You've got me wrong, I just included them with our defenders of the the last couple of years generally. Even though, the few months played by both players are far better than the two and half seasons played by Zebina, don't forget considering their young age especially Chiellini.

In fairness i dont think that saying Canna, zamb and Thuram are better than him proves your point that he is crap. Yes we will have grygera, and another defender but we will also lose tudor, legro and kovac will be too old. Also when zeb wasn't injured he was better than chiellini and balza and that is why he started games over them under capello.
I didn't say that Thuram is better than him in th terms of loyalty, I mean as a defender. In fact, I believe that Thuram is the biggest ungrateful player we've ever had (I've just explained that few minutes ago in another thread). Mate, do you know what Zebina said about Juve after our demotion? Do you remember when he refused to play when he became 100% fit? Check "Fragile Zebina refuses to play Thread"

Regarding our upcoming season defenders, we already added Grygera, who can play in the centre defence as well, and Criscito. What is more, we're negotiating lots of defenders and I think that we'd land at least two of them.

Mike Da Don said:
Did i say that he is as loyal as DP nedved and buffon??? no
but he is as loyal as camo, who often gets applauded on this forum, people forget he didnt want to stay and to me that doesnt matter, hes here now and thats all that counts so to call him disloyal is not fair. Ibra was forced to stay but he threw a tantrum and refused to play so had to be sold, Zebina could have done this too but he had dignity and acted proffesionally about it only for you to slaughter him at a later date, you sohuld take a look at yourself and show the guy some respect, hes given his all for us he does not deserve your abuse
No, you didn't.

By the way, I'm not one of the people who applauds Camoranesi and I think that the latter is on the same level as Zebina in terms of loyalty. But this isn't the most important point, the most important is their endeavours on the pitch. According to what I've watched so far this season, both of them aren't motivated to play and it is very better to sell both.

I didn't mention the gay aka Zlatan, he is the vilest without a doubt.

While I could agree that Chiellini and Zebina are on the same level this season (they both are playing very solid) stating that Balzaretti plays better than Zebina is ridicolous. Balza recently started improving but he had several bad games this season and his overall performance is not impressive.

is he not leading our assists this season? I fail to see how that is bad?
LOL So what? How much does that make him better? His defensive performance is rather bad and that annulates his assists. Average Joe, Zebina is better.

Zebina: “I want to stay at Juve”

After a 2006 characterised by bad luck, 2007 has got off to rather a different start for Jonathan Zebina. The Frenchman’s fitness levels are improving all the time, as his performances on the pitch would demonstrate. He was one of the highlights against Crotone, dominating the relatively unfamiliar role of central defender with commanding authority. Could his Bianconeri future lie there in the heart of the back line?

“Deep down, I’ve always considered myself a first-team player – he told the press on Wednesday – Unfortunately I’ve often had to contend with physical problems. But if I manage to train regularly and I don’t get myself sent-off stupidly, I think I’ll be able to play a lot. Fullback or central defender? I have to admit I prefer it in the middle. You need to measure your efforts on the flank while in the middle you just have to concentrate on defending and doing one things is easier”.

Zebina is fully committed to quickly helping the team back into Serie A, and staying there as one of the top teams. So if one thing’s for certain it’s the falsity of recent rumours of a transfer to Milan. “Either Juve sold me without saying anything or… What surprised me was the certainty with which this story was reported. I challenge anyone to find a contract with Milan signed by me. What are my intentions? To stay here as part of a competitive Juventus. My team mates and I have asked for assurances and it looks as though the club is working towards building a squad capable of challenging at the top. We need to bring in a big new name in each department and have strength in depth, but that’s all down to the boss and the directors”.

And then there’s a future beyond football, something Zebina appears to have considered already. On Thursday afternoon, the defender opens his very own art gallery in Milan, JZ Art Trading. “It’s a passion that comes from a meeting with a gallery owner three years ago, and also from my relationship with Capello who would chat to me often about the subject; I suppose curiosity did the rest. It was something wonderful and unexpected, a real case of love at first sight”.
Forging picasso's perhaps, eh :p ;)

Would be delighted to see Zebina leave for Milan. With Grygera coming I see no place for him in the team. Get a couple of million to add to the transfer kitty and get rid of this dickhead.

I mentioned nothing of thurams loyalty, i was merely saying that saying he isnt as good in footballing terms as the likes of thuram canna etc is not an insult and does not mean he is crap.

As for when he refused to play that was rubbish and the coach and player came out and said so, he said he was feeling nervous and had psycological problems of returning which is only natural for someone coming back off such a long injury lay off, he said he made a mistake saying he was ready to play and he apologised for it what more can he do?
