He shouldn’t sell Exor’s controlling interest in the club bc it will be a debt deal. He should however replace the entire board/management at Jj and install people who know how to run a football club.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the ownership of Juventus considered a jewel in the crown of the Agnelli family?
Many of the super-rich in Italy consider football club ownership as a status symbol.
I seriously doubt that John Elkann would want to be remembered [or viewed] as the "loser" of the Agnelli dynasty who gave away Italy's best-supported team.
