I guess my authority means crap here. :p

I think when a player is linked to Juve he should get is own thread.

- We have a thread for players we'd like to have.
- One will the players linked to Juve
- Official transfers

- Moggi's blockbuster move

and like I said before, when there's a player linked with Juve he should get his own thread.

bah!. If you guys think it's better like that...

Dacourt admits Juve contact (Source: Channel4 Football Italia)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus are in talks with Roma’s Olivier Dacourt regarding a summer switch, the player’s agent has confirmed.

The midfielder was linked with the Bianconeri this week and Giorgio De Giorgis has admitted that a switch is a possibility, even if he added that his client does have a number of options at his disposal.

“There are negotiations going on with Juventus, but nothing has been completed,” the representative is quoted as saying.

“Nothing has been decided yet and Fiorentina have also made an interesting offer which is under consideration.”

The Frenchman will leave the Stadio Olimpico outfit on a free transfer after the club declined to offer him a new deal.

It was initially believed that Dacourt, formerly of Everton and Leeds United, would be heading back to the Premiership or his homeland.

However, his Bosman status has alerted a number of Italian clubs to the possibility of netting the international.

Juve director general Luciano Moggi is always on the hunt for free signings and is believed to have offered the player a three-year deal worth just under £1m a season.

The Old Lady have already netted Parma’s Marco Marchionni for nothing at the end of this season, while Inter’s Cristiano Zanetti is understood to be making the same move.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

:wallbang: I really hope fiorentina get him instead.

It's alright. We never talked about it. I think it should be like what I said in my previous post. It would be much easier for the readers to see a thread for each player we're linked with instead of a mix of all of them. When a thread is started it should have a link to the source...

That's just my opinion.

Will someone tell me this is not true. PLEASE!!!!!!!

This attitude of signing a whole load of players from Roma that Capello has is wearing a bit thin now.

and he's 32. We already have Vieira, Emerson, Giannichedda, Blasi and C. Zanetti. Even if we sell Blasi and Giannichedda or even Vieira I would go for younger legs like Barone or a more creative player.

Ill say its not true, if it helps :).. but yeah I agree its getting ridicolous and stuff like this creates even more anti feelings for capello. On the positive note.. I wonder how roma fans feel about this :D

We want to try and win Cl and these are the players we are linked with? If we get em , then no chance in hell will we win Cl. I like Mexes and Cassano and thats it. Joaquin is good but he is way too inconsistent, i first saw him properly at 2002 wc and in 4 years he has not really improved at all and thats not a good sign. Also Spanish players do not tend to succeed that well in Italy especially the attacking ones(but thats a weak argument i know) . What exactly do we need the likes of Zanetti and Dacourt for? This club will never move forward with this silly antiquated ideas of Moggi's. All this free transfer nonsense is what is killing this club as far as Cl is concerned. Capello is not my cup of tea, but he is right when he says he looks at his bench and sees nothing to help in his rotation of players. Almost all our free transfers have been failures from Muto to Kapo, to Kovac to Giannichedda. But Moggi will insist on his free transfer crap

I agree 100%, we need to invest money in young players like Cassano or D'alessandro if we are to have any chance in lifting the European club.

And this business of loaning out young players to get them used to Serie A is a load of crap. By doing that we just alienate the player.

Enough with the free transfers of average players.

Maybe I should fax Moggi my details, I'm resonably fit and I think I can do a good job in central midfield. How hard can it be to just chase oppposition players and hack at their legs? It's worked for Blasi so far.

Is D'alesandro worth playing for Juve? I think he doesnt come close enough to be in the starting line up,but he may be used as good option to bring on from the bench.
