We're not a free scoring team that can overlook a mistake here and there. He's great in attack but a true imbecile in defense.
oh certainly. that's why max tried him in attack and i think he would have moved cancelo to the wings if he remained.

And alot of people thought that was a right move to do , while it was clear if you want to win you need to have great fullbacks.

This was one of the most stupid swaps ever.

We needed the cash and the guy wanted out and we didn't want to force him to play against his will. What's so hard to understand?

did he ? if i remember correctly Allegri wanted him out because he couldn't defend !! i might be wrong .
There is different speculation, most say that he wanted to stay (he even confirmed himself he was happy at Juve and initially regretted joining City as he struggled) but the combination of 1) City offering a lot of money for him and 2) tactical questions and concerns about him defensively are often mentioned. Not only that but there is a third which suggests he had clashed with people at the club more than once, but that kind of internal thing is hard to verify. Otherwise I see no reason why Allegri wouldn't just use him like he does Cuadrado now.
