Except cancelo can defend. Don't buy the narrative. It's not his strength,but he flashes enough to where allegri will just elevelate him.

I am not buying the narrative, it's just an impression I got from watching him 7-8 times last year. He is quick and athletic enought to defend anyone one on one, but he made quite amount of positioning errors at the same time (played to wide, got caught upfront and left his zone etc.). It all could be fixed with a proper coaching if he is not a braindead player.

If we sign Cancelo we better sell either Lichtsteiner or Cuadrado. Cancelo can play both RB, RM, RW and could come as a backuo to either. For Max' taste I dont know who will start at RB between Cancelo and De Sciglio. Obviously De Sciglio is the better defender, although Cancelo offers a lot going forward. Cancelo could play at RW as well, subbing either Bernardeschi, Costa or maybe Cuadrado if we sell Lichtsteiner instead

I think we will sell both of them. Except maybe let Licht go for free.

I haven't seen enough to make a judgment on him. Only saw clips. Looks good going forward. They say he sucks defensively but Max can fix that.

Looking very, very good going forward indeed.

If he can further his defensive skills while at Juve (and we're known for adding a defensive component to players' repertoires) then I don't see why this guy can't become the best right back in the world at some point.
