I rate Pastore but I won't give up Marchisio for any player in this world. The man is the symbol of Juventus' youth section.

Giovinco and Amauri are there to take for Zampa.

:lol: if Pastore is overrated, then what I should say about Marchisio, mister "Thank God for Calciopoli":flag1:
He would have made the first team with or without Calciopoli. And FYI, top English teams including both Milan teams are interested in him, but if you want to be ignorant and look at things from one side then be my guess.

I would give Marchisio's socks for Pastore though. We can always get a new pair of socks. If Zamparini doesn't want Marchi's socks then you can have them.

It's much easier to find a player like Marchisio (or even better) than a player like Pastore.

I'm not too impressed with marchi, he might be from our youth teams, but what's the point in having people that you raised in club if they arent good enough to take you to the top? Just so you can say "yeah, we have symbols of Juve that we brought up from our youth teams if we're around 7 place on the table?

I like Marchisio and I don't think we will let him go or he would accept to move to Palermo but people should stop considering him a talent for the future, he is 25 FFS, it's not like he is going to improve and become WC.

Marchisio is worth it. And he's more than good enough and hopefully in couple of year he'll be one of the best in his position. He's progressing every year.

I don't know what it is with you and the special players in our team, you always wanted us to sell Del Piero ever since you joined the forums, since 4years now you want us to sell buffon and now you're more than ready to see us giving Marchi away.

Strange but, anyway...

Marchisio stays. He is one of the most consistent performers we have, not to mention you can see how much he is actually improving month by month.

Because I dont see any of the players as special. There might be better players, more important ones, ones with longer history at the club, etc, but none of them are special. The club is special and I always try to see whats best for the club, not for the players. I love Buffon, I love Del Piero, I like Marchisio, but I will always put the clubs best interests before theirs.

That's our tradition and that's one of the reasons we were the most successful Italian team and one of the best in Europe.
Yes, thats why we were. Times have changed, we are nowhere near what we once were, and if we dont do some thing about it we wont be for a very long time.

The question to ask is if we replaced Marchisio with Pastore would we be a better team, would we play better? If the answer is yes, then do it, regardless of how long Marchisio has been with us.

Having tradition wont mean much when you're strugelling to get into the CL year after year, which is exactly our position now.

Fair enough, Z.I guess each one has his own philosophy.

Personally, I think if we want to get Pastore or someone like him it can happen on the expense of someone else and not Marchi because I really rate him apart from the fact that I see him as a Juve bandiera and Captain in the future.

Of course, I would also rather give them Sissoko or Amauri or Pepe, etc, but if they only want Marchi I'd still do it.
