Conte being stubborn is a good and bad sign. Good, coz he has clear ideas of the personnel he wants for roles within thhe team, bad, coz it seems he will not be flexible to tactical formation changes as the season progresses based on team results and core strengths.

Would you get him instead of El Kun ?
No, right now Aguero's a better player but I love Pastore, he will be great with the proper squad around him. I was hoping for both Pastore and Aguero tbh.

this

He wouldnt fit our playstyle anyway
Oh come on. You don't skip on a player like Pastore for not fitting our "playstyle", especially when it's not even a playstyle we've had success with or something. You change the formation, and from what I hear Conte has already played the 4-3-3, a formation Pastore would fit fine in.

pastore needs to be played in a passing team to excell

aguero will fit in whatever team that needs an SS

clearly there is nothing about pastore that would make him better then aguero at, just about anything

That last sentence makes no sense at all, I have no idea why you're comparing them like that.
Wel, as you said we should buy players and the formation later right ?

wel, then we'll label both "SS/CAM"

and i just pointed out that there isnt really anything in wich pastore is superior.

but i disagree with this whole matter, you need a base formation, and then buy players in function of that formation. if neccecary the coach can bend it, but you need a base to start from.

and any formation we could field, would prefer aguero over pastore, because of the goalscoring skills of aguero, and the fact he is never inferior on just about anything

moving to napoli could make his carreer

championsleague qualified team with nothing to loose, and excellent strikers in front.

he'll be able to shine, and spark a bidding war next mercaro, much like sanchez now.

but can napoli afford him
