He probably realizes he fucked that one up, so he is trying to recover from that mess up with Pastore.

I would love that guy here. Buy him and bring in Aguero. Man...going back to wishlist to make a new formation now. :sergio:

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has confirmed an array of top European clubs are interested in Javier Pastore, but remains confident of keeping him for at least another season.

The 21-year-old Argentine international is enjoying a stellar season for the Rosanero, drawing interest from Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United, who are all tempted to make a move.

"People talk, the big clubs are looking around, but it's not just Barcelona interested," Zamparini told Stadionews.it.

"Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid too. Carlo Ancelotti has always liked Pastore ever since he was at Milan. He wanted him there, but we got him instead.

"In any case, I have spoken with his agent and he thinks it's best for Pastore to stay at Palermo for another year for his own development, and I agree with this."

The chief's vision is being supported by the player himself, who offered his own interpretation on his future.

He said: "I am happy in Palermo. I don't know what will happen in the future. But, at the moment it looks like I will be staying."

No way we will be getting him... Maybe when he is 35 he is too young for Marotta.

If we couldn't get him for 30-35M then forget it, he's not worth 40M+

That doesn't sound happy at all.

Zamparini is all talk, he'll demand 30m & above from us & he'll probably settle for 20/25m from another team, might as well look at other realistic alternatives.

With the recent Palermo crash, could Pastore's pricetag gone down? Maybe Zamp won't be able to hold onto Pastore if they continue to slide down the table.
