He had a reason to leave Liverpool.

I watch him for Argentina and he looks like a natural leader on the pitch, always shouting at his team mates trying to motivate them and always working hard and bleeding for the shirt he wears.
Reminds me of the great great Keano. :touched:
That's bullshit mate. Liverpool would have let him leave in January or even kept him on if he wanted. Instead he blamed it on him missing his wife and refused to play against Man City or again unless Liverpool sold him for way less than his worth, shortly before the end of the window. Little did he know that if he had put club first he would have gotten to experience the change in ownership. Now he backs up a kid named Biscuits.

He may be a good player but he's no different from any other mercenary footballer.

I remember. How lame, like you'd wonder how much one should donate him to buy a first class ticket for his wife to come visit him in Liverpool. I believe it cost some fortune.

That's probably true, but me love for Masch and my hatred for Liverpool makes root for him.

Damn! I just remembered how much I used to hate to play Liverpool just because of Mascherano. He literally had our whole midfield in his pocket @ Anfield when you lot beat us 2-1 in 2009
Wonderful footballer.

He's pretty even keel on the pitch. Most of his red cards come from him just missing on difficult tackles (one for dissent though) instead of him losing his mind and stomping someone. However, if Juve had another 5th place or worse season it wouldn't surprise me to see Javier missing his Papito and asking to be sold to Chelsea for a plane ticket to London.

Then we would bring Tiago back to lock him in a toilet and Del Piero wouldn't save him this time ala Secco style because he wouldn't be part of the squad anymore.

26 year old, one of the very best in his position. Guys, we're surely not in position to choose between two or three great players. If an opportunity pops up to buy someone from the elite, we must react asap. Only with such players we can be back in CL and further improve/become attractive to other great players.
I don't care anymore if someone is a mercenary and leave us after 2-3 seasons. Right now it's only important to get back to CL and be competitive there.

Mascherano is a top player and may well be available.

Would be foolish for Juve not to make enquiries at the very least.

:agree:

Masch is a world class player and Juve should try their best to sign him.
