Mascherano likes Serie A and has always preferred playing as a midfielder. An interest in Juve is entirely possible esp if Barca are finally planning on signing a good CB. And obviously, it makes sense for us to pursue his signature (good Marchisio and Khedira alternative + Bonucci's backup...a nice 2-in-1). Barca of course want to keep him. A move to Juve is only possible if Mascherano feels strongly about it. That's my take on it.
