5 goals in 7 games in Copa Libertadores from this 18 year old winger.

Sign him up. He'll probably go to Benfica or Udinese and then have the same price tag that Sanchez has after a few seasons.

I'm not saying I disagree, I havent seen Rodriguez enough, but you said much better? So I say based on what, seen enough to judge that? I'm sceptical on that wording, because you have to be very very very special talent to be much better then Alexis. You are special enough to just be as good.

But yeah Alexis has issues with his end product. But he has all the tools to become a great player.

Talent wise, I think both are blessed. As I said, he (James) has a footballing brain, which is something which separates the guy in your avatar from any other footballers in history. Not that I want to make that comparison at all between them, but he knew what it was like to play as a team and was aware of how his teammates play. He knew what to do with the ball and didn't put his head down and run at the opposition all "gung ho". Rodríguez is very mature for his age in that aspect, he is very polished off and knows how to use his talent to help the team, and understands his role.

Individual skill is pretty useless unless that is applied. Quaresma being my example.

i have been for a while :D but i think james can be even better with the right guidance, though i still think juventus is too early for him
Ah nice, I totally agree with bold part as well. Would hate to see him sitting on the bench or being put into the spotlight too soon at the current Juventus. Even if that means we co own him with Chievo or something, we'll bully them when it matters.

I don't see him coming to us if he left Banfield this summer. I don't think we have enough budget to buy him. Even for co-ownership for Chievo. You can see that from the deal Marotta been done: Pepe in loan and the loan fee is paid next season, Martinez in 4 installment, Bonucci in transaction include players. And because the injury on Buffon we already spend incidental budget to buy Storari (4.5m)

If we need to buy the likes of Mexes, Motta, LB, Krasic, and striker (Dzeko), and the backup fullback, we still need budget especially in Krasic and striker (Dzeko) transfer. And i don't see South American club will accept installment payment and Rodriguez value must be more than 7m. But i still hope we can sign this guy
