One of their young midfielders has been great this season, I think he's called Gubetti but Im not sure. He has some terrific long distance shots and his passing is also on the same level.

He's one of the talents you're asking about #10.

True he is class, but he is already Roman class. A Roma youth product is not exactly a tough spot if you are a half decent Italian scout.

So now any Roma youth product is considered a talent :howler:
Again you don't quite understand my point. Picking a talent from some Serie C youth team is an impressive move, but picking a talent who has come from a quality youth setup from a top team is not exactly difficult.

There is a certain level of competance expected of the youth products from any top team. The talent benchmark at top teams is higher than that of smaller clubs, therefore the probability of picking talent his greater.

No doubt about that, but I doubt many have noticed Gubertti had he not been picked up by Doria and performed on such a level. That is a plus for their scouting/sporting sector and certainly for Del Neri who unlike the famous Italian mentality, gave the nod to the "inexperienced" player.

Teams like Samp and Palermo always try and cherry pick the finest youth products from the top teams. It is natural the top teams loan their promising youngster out for as much top class experience as possible.

The skill in picking such players from the top teams is not as difficult of pulling them from the unknown. Doria, Palermo and even Juve scouting networks would have seen Guberti in action. Del Neri took a gamble in playing him which seems to have payed of. Such clubs always take a gamble on talent like this and Roma would have been hoping Guberti did well to improve his value.

Foti has been at the club for years, not one of the regime's talents.
Marilungo has got some serious talent, but again was about Samp before this regime.
This regime? Marotta has been their GM since 2002.

Fiorillo is unproven between the sticks
Obviously. He's a youngster.

Poli is one of theirs but is not exactly world class.
He's very promising. He's only young and he's already impressing in the first team in Serie A.

Guberti. We were linked with him when Roma got him (he's on loan from them to Doria).

I'll give you these two, it appears they were brought throught the Marrotta regime.

Obviously. He's a youngster.

Therefore an irrelevant choice, goalies always need experience to prove their talents....Ben Foster?

He has received the plaudits, but as to be expected, has been poor on occasions. Potential there, but I don't think his talent is outstanding

The man who followed Rodriguez Argentina, Renzo Castagnino, it would soon leave his post at Juventus, along with possibly Roberto Bettega and Alessio Secco. It will then Beppe Marotta, Fabio Guild and probably Asmini Salvatore (the trio of leaders of Sampdoria you are going to move to Turin), take a final decision on Rodriguez.

In the end, probably the player and will for the first season, will be on loan to Chievo.
