I am glad, nenna, that you have some faith in Amauri still...and i will notbe surprised if he leaves us during the summer then does well at a new club, but still, I say...I would be very happy to see him GONE. Too many times since his arrival in turin, have I seen him play and conclude with disgust that he is one of the worst attackers we have sever signed...

I don't think that anyone here is assuming that Rodriquez is the answer to our problems. Clearly, he has the potential to help improve our attack, as we have not had ANY QUALITY ON THE WINGS this season. But to say all we need is ROdriquez!!! No. Nobody has suggested this, and that seems to be what you are fighting against or reacting to...when the truth is...there is keen interest in this player, for he seems exciting. And if he comes to our club, great. Because it means we can still attract some of the most promising players from latin america...it does not mean he will be our saviour. We ALREADY have some decent players, but as explained, our midfield is not at all settled. We have some bright colours to play with still, but must revert to a blank canavs this summer...and by bringing in more bright colours, the picture of the future juve can only be come brighter....See what I mean???

My line is...if we buy him. Give him a chance during preseason. If he looks up for it and up to it, chuck him in the first team squad. give him some sub appearances... but who knows eh? Maybe he will be superb and warrant a starting place.

It makes no sense whatsoever for you to be saying ONLY WORLD CLASS players should be allowed in our starting team...Grosso, De Ceglie, Grygera, Cannavaro, Legro, MArchisio, Poulsen, Amauri...Iaquinta...

None of those players are world class, by my reckoning. Marchisio could become world class, the others, no way...and the midfielder is nowhere near that level yet.

I would also add in DP, who has world class technique still, which can shine in flashes, but he is not feared, as he used to be, for good reason...he has no pace of strength. Trezeguet still likely has world class finishing abilities...but his body is not Right, and hasn't been for a while.

Who does that leave eh??
Giovinco...potentially world class...
CHiellini and Buffon are the ONLY two I see, who you could call world class players. I mean players who could easily play for ANY of the top teams in the world...I don't think any of our other players could play for ANY top team in the world game...as they are simply not good enough.

Recognition of the past is all well and good, but acceptance of the p[resent and constructive hopes for the future are more important to our cause now.

Banfield have been so content in chugging it into the final third. Rodríguez barely touched the ball or got in the game.

Highlight of the half: Learning Morelia are sponsored by Sol.

He played as a left AM in 4-3-2-1 formation, sometimes switched to the right. He barely touch the ball largely because Banfiled played defensive and the cm and defender just blast the ball to nowhere when had possesion. I can see him has good pace, good shoot and quick feet, but need to improve his decision making and stamina thought.

Great, he'll fit right in and feel at home.
