Nah, another French player to Juve. He better be good. Hopefully DD gives the youngsters a chance also so that Juve stays Italian at least partially and doesn't become completely French.

Somebody has to be the Arsenal of Italy. And given Juve's long history of excellent Frenchies (Zidane, Trez, etc.), I think it would be foolish to have a Juve and French insider like DD not recognize talents well before the rest of the league could.

Forza DD.

We've had many great french players in the past, and currently we have Trezeguet and the best defender in the world in Boumsong, so I know what you're saying :p

But still, I wouldn't want us to become the Arsenal of Italy, because that would mean, as sateeh said, having a full starting 11 consisting of foreigners. I think it's important for this club that we nurture the home grown talent that is in our own ranks as well as sign the cream of the crop of Italian players based in Italy. In other words, continue with our policies from the past. A mixture of Italians and frenchies will do the trick :agree:

Bring in the Faty, I say!

And hopefully we'll be the ones who eventually land Ribery next summer (although this is a long-shot)

i don't want to sound racist, but trez is argentinian/ zidane is algerian/ platini has italian origins(imagine platini playing with the italian national team, we wouldve had at least one more star)
anyways, back to the topic, plz dd, no more french players, i was always proud of juventus cause it had so many italians(opposite to inter) n i don't want that to change

Who cares if he isn't an established player at the moment and that he's french, he's young and everyone seem's to rate him, so let him come to juve next year, it'll be on a bosman so we won't have to worry bout the transfer fee

He asked for the source like that information is very important for accepting or not accepting someone in juve squad.

He is Muslim or He is Budish, so what?? The question is, is he any good for juve or not.

Juventus to pounce for West Ham's Mascherano
tribalfooball.com - October 04, 2006

Juventus intend to make an approach for West Ham United midfielder Javier Mascherano in January.

Well aware of the Argentine's problems in adapting to Premiership life, Juve coach Didier Deschamps will push his board to test West Ham's resolve by making an offer for the midfielder.

Juve tried for Mascherano over the summer before his move to West Ham and Deschamps is desperate to bring him to Turin, where he has only youngster Matteo Paro as a holding midfielder.
