I heard that the stadium has been constructed so we can fairly easily add 10k seats without to much hassle. Off course it would take an investment we aren't going to make the next few years, but if it is right, it's pretty nice, since i believe we would need some extra space soon. Anyone who can confirm?

Before the stadium was made they said it would be made easily expandable to around 60000, afterward the architects said that it' is not made (easily) expandable

Juventus have presented their new project, building a training ground, hotel, stores and an international school next to the Stadium.

The Bianconeri already because the first Serie A club to build and own their stadium, but have struck another deal with the Turin council to expand.

Today approval arrived for the club to have a 99-year lease on the 180,000 sqm Continassa area – behind the Juventus Stadium – to build a new training camp for the squad, a hotel and a Concept store.

This will include a park, a monument in honour of the Heysel victims and a new road.

The club headquarters will also move to Via Druento in the Continassa section, while an International School of Europe is going to be constructed too.

This is a complete reworking of what Turin Mayor Piero Fassino called “an area that was very compromised in environmental and social terms.”

Juventus general manager Aldo Mazzia confirmed between the stadium, Juventus Museum and this other extension, the project requires €340m investment.

The club bought the rights to the land for 99 years at a cost of €12m and claim it will create 300 jobs in the area.

“We’ll bring the team back into the city and make the current Vinovo camp into the first Football Academy in Italy.”

However, this step is only the first in the planning stage and will require another four months to get the paperwork in order.

It’s believed the building process itself will take 21 months.

That sounds amazing to be honest.
Not so much dude.
We had a different project. Which included a multi-sala (Cinemas 12 screens) a Spa , a residential area (some flats, houses to sell). We also had planned to build the new Managment center of the team inside the Continassa Villa which from Italians laws has to be restored. But now instead of incorporating that villa and juventus center we'll build one from 0 to go.

Instead of all this which could have brought real economical improvments we'll have a international school (please explain me what profits may bring this school since the italian sytem is all free 2 pay even university) and nothing else!!!!!!!!!!!!

And what worse is that in the project is not included a covered training camp. -__________- just 2-3 green camps in the open.

This new project is bullshit. It will take money and will almost have 0 return in profit! and without a proper training camp to use for winter time it's totally useless.
Only positive note is that we people living in Turin can go freely to see Juventus training. But that's it.

COMPLETE UTTERLY BULL CRAP.

Translated via google.... that was the original project:
New headquarters, training camps, hotels, cinemas, Agnelli: "We will be the first in Italy, like the European clubs'
Antonio Barillà

TURIN - The city of Juventus, next to the new stadium: will be completed in four years and will include the head office, the new training center for the first team, a hotel with eighty rooms, a multiplex cinema, a health club, and a lot of residences private. "One step further - comments Andrea Agnelli - that puts us ahead of our competitors and Italian will help us bridge the gap with European ones. It will be a real pole and a further investment Juventus: always try to excellence and leadership, this is definitely a first-class project that confirms our ambitions. "
DECAY - At present, in addition to the president, there are two deputy directors Aldo Mazzia and Beppe Marotta, the mayor of Turin, Piero Fassino, the city planning commissioner Ilda Curti and the Councillor for Sports Stephen Gallo. Juventus Turin together for the redevelopment and enhancement of an area currently under conditions of neglect, adjacent to the Juventus Stadium and in a strategic position - four kilometers from the Reggia di Venaria, eight from the center - called Continassa as the eighteenth-century farmhouse that there is now reduced to a ruin in recent years devastated by fire and theft, repeatedly the subject of squatting. Juve have expressed their willingness to transfer you to renovate their offices and to create around a large sports center, and the idea has been positively received by the Government: the signed MoU, now await the review and final approval by the Council.
REFERENCE - The transfer of the first team sports center is the pivot of the project, but the structures of Vinovo will not be sold or disposed of: host all the activities of the youth sector. "In the new training center - says Marotta
- We can accommodate a group of forty professionals of excellence: the pole will be another feather in the cap for the preparation and withdrawals of the first team, but hopefully the second team, if it passes the reform. Vinovo, where it is already operating the Juventus College, will instead make it three hundred boys that families entrust us to train, study, and also to live thanks to the creation of a new boarding school. "A smile, proud statement: "Juventus is considered as a benchmark like the best European companies."
CAPITALIZATION - Mazzia, the other in black and white, describes in detail the project that personally follows, drawn up by the company in ten months working in collaboration with the Director of Real Estate Juventus Richard Abrate and architect Alberto Rolla: "The company will exercise surface rights on approximately 180 thousand square meters of the area: the remaining 80 thousand will remain at the disposal of the municipality, maintaining the current target for public services that will be realized thanks to our contribution. The location is strategic, in close contact with the stadium and just a few minutes drive from the center of the well. "Under the project, which will strengthen the capital base further redevelopment of the club, Juventus
will invest 41.5 million, including a contribution to the redevelopment of the public, 10.5 for the acquisition of the surface rights and 30 for the construction of the training center and headquarters. A part of the sum, about 40 percent will be financed with the proceeds from the exploitation of the area with the new features planned: the multiplex cinema, for which the negotiation is advanced, the wellness center, and perhaps the hotel. Maybe because Mazzia not exclude a direct involvement of Juventus in the implementation and management of the hotel: "We can have great success, also considered the position: in addition to the retreats of the team, will accommodate many fans who come to watch the games for Turin" . A wing is also set to guest quarters.
STRATEGY - "Intervention - notes Fassino - fits into the framework of a strategy to transform the city: the rehabilitation of areas can allow a significant increase in quality of life and a reorganization of life itself. The investment of the stadium was important, with benefits not only for the company but also for the city. "The willingness of Juventus to make such an important investment - according to a note of the City - "offers an example of how collaboration between public and private can intervene where the resources for urban regeneration can be supplemented by private operators interested in investing in our territory. "When the work will be completed ("By 2015 or 2016," says Agnelli), including the stadium, museum and Area 12, the total investment will amount to 340 million.
