Juve to fill Curvas with kids

The two Curvas at the Juventus Stadium could be populated by children for the Juventus-Udinese Serie A game.

As it stands, those two sections of the ground – behind each goal – will be closed to supporters as a punishment for territorial discrimination chants aimed at the city of Naples during the 3-0 win over Napoli.

The Curva Nord will be closed for 90 minutes, while the Curva Sud will be shut for two games – thus will also be empty for the Sassuolo tie.

However, after an initiative by Turin daily Tuttosport, those two parts of the arena may now be filled with kids instead of Ultras.

Italian Olympic Committee chief Giovanni Malago and Italian Football Federation President Giancarlo Abete are in favour of such a move.

Oh, I see what it's about now. It's not just about the Curva being closed, it's about the club's response (or lack of one). I was thinking at first why would the FIGC care about what they do during a CL match, but then I read the article.
