It is, especially so looking at the other Italian clubs . I'm not so sure if I would consider it good enough to expand the stadium though, unless by expanding the stadium the club also drops ticket prices, hopefully increasing demand and getting more people to attend matches.

Also, dropping prices when you have a limited number of seats is not going to increase revenue when such a large % of the stadium is already filled.

e.g.

per game

35,670 (87%) x €30 ticket = €1,070,100 receipts

41,000 (100%) x €20 = €820,000

So it would not be worth it to drop prices.

Not sure how much tickets actually are though.

Bayeren is the big example in the Commercial regard, they are a league ahead of anyone.

I mean seriously, their commercial turnover is higher then our total turnover ffs :tongue:

Germany is a massive football nation. Bayern is like the Yankees, Cowboys, etc are here, but in Germany. Everyone owns something from Bayern as kids, they are literally everywhere there.

As far as the German league goes i don't think it will be long before they over take the premiership in terms of commercial wealth and international marketing, for example their market amongst Japanese fans is rapidly increasing, so much so that recently the bundesliga website now has a Japanese domain.

They won't here in the US because we are too lazy to learn about German soccer. EPL will always be strong here.

the Asian market is probably far bigger and easier to tap into than the US since football/soccer is a bigger sport out in the far east than it will ever be in the US
