By the looks of things, most of the areas behind the infamous rods will be occupied by stairs
That's a relief, but it's still a pretty stupid feature of an otherwise stunning design.

Which of the stadia in Italy have the stands closest to the pitch? The thing I'm most looking forward to is actually having decent atmosphere at our matches for once. Hopefully the citizens of Turin won't dog on the stadium like they did (understandably) with the Delle Alpi.

I wonder will the tv cameras be facing the skyboxes or on the same side? Also, it seems odd that they still haven't completed the roof sections in each of the corners, my guess is that there will be work done to try and find an alternate solution to the rods?

Perhaps, but not likely.

From what I have seen, the rods are directly in front of the stairs, which means that their impact on the spectators view will be minimal.

Cameras never face the skyboxes.
