It does seem like that, but TBH as I suggested before, and I think the FAQ mentions it as well, the rods appear to be in front of the stairs that lead to the seats, so it doesnt look like anybody will be sitting directly behind them, so the disturbance will be limited.

My favourite stadium in the world is probably Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. Yeah I know its primarily a RL stadium, but it looks sensational, there is no obstructions in the way, very close to the pitch and a nice capacity (52,000). HEre it is for those of you non-Australians. Its easily the best stadium in this country for football.

Alucobond is not transparent but i think there is some kind of light effect. from the outside i guess.

The rods are in front of the stairs from what I have seen/heard, they won't bother much.
