I liked it in silver, it looked so much cooler. Now it just looks like a big mess. I mean we get it, this teams is extremely patriotic about the whole Italian thing. Also with all of those colors it reminds me of the airline Alitalia which isn't a good thing at all.

I'm a fan of minimalism. So like I said I think the original design was more stylish in that way, but looking back I also think it lacks personality and warmth. I have a feeling this new coating will be an acquired taste.

I think its a bit early to make a proper judgement. But yeah the tri-colour is a joke. Are they covering the roof or something?
I don't think so, most stadiums don't cover theirs. But it would be cool if all those metal ropes would hold a roof and were remotely controlled to remove it and put it back on. Instead they just sit there.

Yeah well if you're going to build a multi-million dollar stadium which is meant to last us a considerable amount of time, you'd think some of the details (structurally and in terms of style) would be well thought out and executed. Your team pays out the arse, you should demand a good final product. The italian thing is stupid and avoidable. Hardly anyone in Italy even cares about the Azzurri anyway we look like we should be serving meatball subs out of this place.

Are you on drugs or something? As if the Azzurri isnt loved in Italy, did you see the turn out all over the country after they won the WC?

I don't know if anybody has realized, but Juventus is a club in ITALY with the most fans in the country. The team showing their love for the country by adding the Italian flag to the stadium is just awesome. For all you haters out there of Italy and the flag, go support Inter! I notice too much racism on this forum, especially towards Italy.

Yes I am, but that's besides the point. Everyone goes nuts when their national team wins the world cup. The truth is, from my experience living there (which I've done on two separate occasions) that people don't even watch qualifiers, keep up with who's in and out of the squad and follow them religiously. Italians pay much more attention and are much more passionate about their clubs that's just their focus. You obviously don't know Italy. It has major identity problems especially in more isolated areas which counts towards a large part of the country who consider themselves more Puglisese, more Venetian etc. then Italian.

You can shut up about me having to love the Italian flag to love Juventus. Say that to half the people on this forum and see the reaction you get. This is Juventus, not the Italian national team and I find it embarrassing that we pose as a beacon of Italian nationalism. I don't know one other club at the level of Juventus' which does so with their national colours. And all this is coming from someone with a strong Italian background.

Man, fuck Italy and FIGC. They're the reason Juve is in this position right now and Juve is the reason they won the WC.

On a somewha unrelated note, doesn't racism only apply to race though? I didn't know greasy was one.

I love how mostly everyone on this forum just bashes Italy, and says fuck Italy for this, fuck Italy for that. Wtf is that about? Do you want people to say shit about your nationality?

I'm not referring to the state itself as much as I am referring to their football federation. No need to take it personally.

I'm Italian, born there and all. The dislike towards the tricolore is a matter of aesthetic taste mainly, and hardly one of racism. It's splattered across the structure so indiscriminately that it comes across as really tacky. If anything, black and white should be more prominently featured as it's Juventus' stadium, not Italy's. I mentioned it earlier, but really, what's the need for those colours done in such a gaudy fashion? It's not as if the building's located abroad and some "reaffirmation of Italian identity" is even necessary. The bloody thing is in Italy already.
