Actually, In Spain attendances even for the smaller teams are pretty good. Much better than those in Italy and Portugal anyway from what I've seen.
:disagree: you'd be surprise to know that attendance in the spanish la liga isn't much better than serie A (difference is pretty small).

08-09 season:

Serie A = 25,304
Spanish la liga = 29,124

I wouldn't call a 4,000 average difference pretty small but that's just me. In any case, again from what I've seen bottom and midtable teams in Spain do enjoy better attendance percentages in their stadiums.

I think what he meant was for the smaller teams. When u factor barca's 90,000 average out of that stat it'll be pretty close

After the top 6 the differences aren't too big, though.

pretty shocking that the big stadiums in italy in rome and milano are so empty....
just look at roms 30k that's about 50% of the stadium if not less.... even milan and inter are pretty worrying....we will see what happens to us....next year with nearly 45k seats....what have we right now 25k?
