Well, Juventus is a Latin word so perhaps they wanted to put the Latin version of stadio in the name.

We should name the stadium something Italian. I don't get how we can put the Italian flag all over our stadium and call it Juventus Stadium or Juventus Arena. Would rather name it something to do with our history at some point.

This stadium is hell for the opposition. Commentators were saying that it was unusually loud. The idea from the beginning was to construct it so that the noise would get trapped in magnifying it to extreme levels.
Can't wait to see fan videos from the stadium (they don't damp down the noise) when the goals were scored now against Milan.
