I wonder why we had a good squad and other players found our team attractive despite offers from other clubs.

oh right.. we bought them in the 90s LOLZ

fuck that, Real madrid threw money like it was nothing on everyone not to mention the Chelsea era began at that time as well.

I wasn't saying that the players we bought in the 90s effected the choices of the players we bought in 2006, but rather this is a compounding effect.
Our established players in the mid 90s effected the choices of the players we bought in the late 90s, the established players we brought in in the late 90s effected the choices of the players we bought in the early 2000s, the established players we bought in the early 2000s effected the choices of the players we bought in the mid 2000s. If you start all over you don't have a base of good players that maybe convince our transfer targets to join. This along with more spending from Spanish and English sides made it a lot more difficult for modern Italian teams to operate in the transfer market.

Moggi had it a lot easier when he started in 1994 because he inherited a competitive squad in a competitive league with less competitive foreign competitors.

We were doing EXTREMELY well in fucking 2006 before we got relegated and lost half our team. And it was all due to Moggi... I have no idea how is that even debatable.

Who the fuck is debating whether we were doing well in 2006? Juventus had a great team the day Moggi started and he was able to sign players because of that. In other words he renewed our squad with new good players. A big reason players join teams is the squad they already have. Moggi did great, but our current managers are working in more difficult circumstances than him.

We didn't lose it due to Moggi if that's what you're saying. He was however largely responsible for our team being so good.

That's the view Badass is going to have of the Juve game tomorrow.

I meant quite the opposite, a huge part of our success was due to his market transfers, yes!

I'm running in circles with paid-off-ref so I'll just stop right there...alright buddy, if we had Marotta back then we'd have done the same....lol :/:/:/

No, not saying that. Think about it this way. If Moggi started in the summer of 2010 with the squad we had back then would his next 12 years be as successful (as successful as the period between 1994-2006)?

That's why I said or "whatever" after their names. But please keep grasping at straws..

He, unlike Marotta, knew what our team needed the most and spent money wisely at that.

Yawn....not grasping straws because I know you're either a child or a moron, sorry. No point debating with you. Moggi was talented but he was also lucky to be at the right place at the right time. He is not the Messiah no matter what wet dreams you have.

He bought some unproven players and they turned world class with us as well. He had an eye for youngsters.

Never called you names, just figured you out for a child or a moron. Those types of people tend to be attached to "patriarchs" who can do no wrong. For Republicans it was Reagan, for many Democrats it's Obama and apparently for you it's Moggi.
