i guess when Mourinho said he wanted a smaller club people were actually listening.
It sounds like people were waiting for Mourinho to say that :D

What does "Mercato" mean in Italian? "Rumor" or "news"?

Very good signing for Inter.
I hope that Juve will also find a fantasista during this summer.
i really hope that means that we will be signing a good midfielder to.. a star... like emerson ;)

Jeezus Mark, you scared me for a second. All I read was the BOLD words, and I thought for a moment that WE had signed Veron. It was wiggin' me out man!

Veron has not had the best of seasons recently, lets hope that being in Italy again makes him regain his form. Im all for this deal, its a one year loan which other than his wages, did not cost us anything. Not a bad deal Moratti and Co....

the thing is, what do Chelsea get out of this deal?

I realise they get Veron off their wage bill and reduce the number of players at the club - but Veron is getting on a bit and next year his value will probably have dropped by quite a bit. Surely now is the last chance to get a decent transfer fee for him?

I suppose money isn't really a factor for them anymore though is it?

Veron was linked with us at one time.

Inter paying his wage will have to sell somebody.

Inter buying Veron means they don't need Maresca.
