I asked my dad, he's a professor ;)

Bologna (founded in 1088, is the most ancient in the world) : Law http://www.eng.unibo.it/PortaleEn/default.htm

Padova: Philosophy
http://www.unipd.it/en/index.htm

Pisa: Umanistic subjects (literature, philosophy, ...)
http://www.unipi.it/php/facolta/ (I only found it in italian :()

Politecnico di Torino: Technical subjects (informatic, technology, ...)
http://www.polito.it/index.en.html

But all of the "big" univesities are good ones.
For example:

- Turin http://www.unito.it/ (the english version is under construction)

- The Catholic University of Milano http://www.unicatt.it/ucsc_EV.asp

- "Bocconi" in Milan http://www.uni-bocconi.it/ (no english version)

- La Sapienza in Rome http://www.uniroma1.it/

- Other 2 (I-don't-remember-the-name) in Rome
http://www2.uniroma2.it/index.shtml
http://www.uniroma3.it/

And so on..

But, can I ask u why did u want to know?
U know, I'm a curious girl ;)

Schools in Germany and UK are similar. In general, unless you go a top school in Europe, like Erasmus, London Business School, INSEAD in France, Oxford, IMD in Switzerland or IESE in Spain- you can't really find a job outside the EU.

American schools are different and are widely recognized all over the world.

I really loved Italy, but it IS the place where everyone tries to screw you over. Taxi drivers, people in the store, even the machine which sells tickets to metro took my money, didn't give me neither ticket nor my change and then LAUGHED at me!

Well at least u have to admit that Italy is 1 of the romantic nations around.

But I will prefer to go to Hong Kong. Shopping paradise, nice girls to see, good transport and good service. Totally different from the time when I went there in 2000. I was away fro 4 days from here cos I was in HK. And since it is the fall period, those girls r dressed pretty well.

But 1 bad thing, the air quality in HK is very bad and the roads r always congested. Think about it, how is it possible that a busy street can only have 3 road lanes? IMO I think it should be at least 4 or 5.
