i like that formation period but del piero has to play more in the middle and take some of the load off the midfielders......besides he always plays better in the middle where he can score.

there have been some ideas from other fans in other forum,something like this

consider that cr have a good midfielders so italy could push from the wings, while rino/pirlo have to stop nedved and rosicky.

I actually don't care whether he plays in the middle(Playmaker) or little bit upfront, all what I care is to see him on the field, controlling the ball when needed, calming the game down when it's necessary and probably try to take a freekick or two and so on...

Again the most Important thing is that Lippi doesn't play with Two Finisher Strikers upfront but ONE....Lippi's men do need to secure the midfield.
