can anybody tell me how many team get promoted directly and who go in a playoff??

ya top 2 teams get promoted directly and teams 3 through 6 battle it out in the playoffs. the winner of the playoff will represent the 3rd seed.

Let's hope there's one Serie-B team which will be so superior that it wins almost every game it plays and get 1st spot. Then we can realistically aim for the number 2 spot, being in our reach due of the inconsistency of the other clubs. The playoffs is also an option, should we stumble more.

I think it is absolutely vital that we stand with 3 points when there are 30 games left to play. That means 6 wins and 2 draws from our first 8 games, and we already have 1 draw. If we can achieve this, it would be an amazing start to the campaign. And a necessary one.

Vicenza 1-1 Napoli
Napoli’s difficulties continue as they threw away what would’ve been a valuable victory away to rock bottom Vicenza. The Biancorossi impressed under new Coach Angelo Gregucci and put the visitors under pressure, but it was Edy Reja’s men who took the lead when Calaiò sprung the offside trap on Savini’s pass to waltz round the goalkeeper. The points seemed to be in the bag thanks to Iezzo’s saves on Schwoch, but Savini saw red after a brawl and moments later Cavalli snatched a deserved equaliser to end their run of three consecutive home defeats.
Scorers: Calaiò 43 (N), Cavalli 89 (V)
Sent off: Savini 88 (N)
-----------------------------------------
one of the initial favourites for promotion are not doing very well. And we play them soon, so lets hope they dont hit good form anytime soon

if we win 6 and draw 2, we'll have 34 games left to play

Poor Toni - his team is already bottom - we are above them with 2 games in hand (including tomorrows). They are -5 after 7 games: we are -4 after 5.

8 points from the table leader with one match less (vs Brescia), I'd say from here till the end of November we should already be in top three with a strong chance to overtake the leadership.

:agree: That penalty reduction means we have a realistic chance of being promoted as serie B champions. :)

Former Juventus star Antonio Conte’s first Coaching job has already ended, as he was fired by Arezzo.

The Serie B club announced the news this evening and appointed ex-Pescara boss Maurizio Sarra.

The ex-midfielder had been hanging in the balance following a dismal start to the Serie B campaign, in which they’d picked up just five draws and four defeats, scoring only two goals and conceding nine.

With a six-point Calciopoli penalty as well, Arezzo now prop up the table on minus one and face an uphill struggle to avoid relegation.

The final straw was Saturday’s 2-0 defeat away to promotion chasers Cesena, but confidence was low in general.

This is shown by the fact that four different players have missed a penalty for Arezzo this season.

It was 37-year-old Conte’s first job on the bench, having begun his Coaching career this summer after 13 years at Juventus.
