LASAGNA

Tanu_Mz: A little anedocte about Kevin Lasagna.
The bank I work for has a national football team that played a friendly/charity game vs Carpi. One of my fellow colleagues, who is also part of the gang travelling to the Stadium for the games, played that game which was held the same day Juve played Real Madrid away. After the game, they watched the Juve game all together in a pub and when Morata scored Lasagna jumped on the table and started to scream his head off like most Carpi players (Lollo and Romagnoli were pretty wild too, apparently, and only Letizia was shouting for Real being a merda fan).
I spoke to my mate last night and he told me: "when I saw Lasagna scoring vs merde @ San Siro in the last minute, after seeing his hysiterical reaction after Morata's goal, I was worried he might pull his pants down and start a wankfest in front of the cameras"

I love this club. All you squirts from Inter & Milan forums looking at this. Fuck off the hole your clubs dug themselves into and brought all of you down with them...bury yourselves and never come back out until you maggots hatch a new Calciopoli egg to try and bring us back down again. The denial runs as deep as the butthurt your idiotic directors gave you when they bent you over and took you for a ride on the Carlos Primera Pony Express without greasing the axles.

We struggled this season early on and you fools heads grew like a hot air balloon and you still couldn't take advantage even after we sold Vidal & Tevez and Pirlo left. Incredible. Take a look around at your club. You peasants aren't worthy to look at the well-oiled machine that wins 5 on the trot.

Adios.

Yeah but you're forgetting some important factors that help Simone at Atletico - low expectations, patience, and gratefulness.
None of that can be provided by Inter fans, who will expect immediate results and get discouraged by the first failure.

Its easy to forget but Inter has more potential capital and defenitely bigger fanbase then Atletico. A great coach and good new management/director, and a few patient years where you start off modest and they can get back to the top for sure. You dont realize, however bad Inter is now, Atletico werent only smaller club, but they were PATHETIC, called even Pathetico. The whipping boys that had huge losses in games despite having prime Torres and later prime Forlan and Aguero attacks. Litterally the completely opposite of what Simeone made them.
You think Simeone would want to go trough that initial phase again, rather then remain a coach who challenges for the title and CL ?

Bigger club is bigger pressure, but honestly who are Inter and its fans for past 5 years to work against work in progress? They are demanding, but also kinda used to how things work as fans of a bigger club. They arent like Roma or Napoli who make insanely hostile or destructive inviroment for themselves. You rarely heard Inter fans create ruckus or attack their own team or protest, all done by the more southern clubs.

Maybe.

Anyway Simeone won't come and even if he does we'll still dominate, I'm pretty sure.

He is a guy who seems to prefer comfort and familiarity and project building, there is a reason he hasnt moved yet after 5 years. He used to play for Atletico and loved it there, hence he went and coached them. There is a reason Conte is going to coach Chelsea, its because Simeone for 2nd or 3rd year in a row passed on it. Also there is a reason only clubs he talked about coaching is Lazio and Inter, former clubs, and already coached or coaching former clubs in Racing Club before and now Atletico, its a clear pattern. Only anomaly was his brief stint for Catania 6 years ago. He seems to be kind guy who will prefer coaching in latin countries, and for Spain its already it with Atletico, no way he will ever coach Barca or Real (complete opposite of their style in former, and too much of a Atletico legend for latter). That leaves Italy that he already coached in and spent most of his playing days.

We will dominate for few more years, but it will be a challenge, a fun one, if he joins them and gets proper backing. The Inter games wont feel like a midtable nuisance anymore after a while.

I don't care. I want Inter dead and buried. If you were talking about Milan, Roma or Napoli. Great. I like a challenge, let them be a bit stronger than they are now. Not Inter though. That club deserves to die.

I couldnt agree more. But we dont allways get what we want do we? So we have to settle for frustrating them and beating them on the pitch even with a great coach/better team.

BTW you're right in saying that they'd be a much better team. But a coach can only do so much. There is no real structure to speak of at Inter and even if Simeone managed to get some sort of project going, he'd need at least 3-4 years to turn Inter into a big club again. We on the other hand are a machine. Even if Conte and then Allegri did very well with the squad they had, they were also given every opportunity to shine imo.

Lies. Black baby Jesus would cry. It was all down to conte. Everything, even this year and specially 100 hundred years after.

Wow, if rumours are true, both Inter & AC Milan will be purchased by Chinese led groups. Alibaba group is rumoured to be the party interested in AC Milan, which is a co-owner of Evergrande, where Lippi was coach. This is a $200 billion dollar company with a lot of financial power. Inter is apparently having 20% bought by Suning Group, which is the company that owns Suning, the team that just through out millions of dollars at Guarin, Gervinho, etc, the last few years. It's a much smaller company at $13B. Ultimately, this could be very positive for Serie A, but very negative for us, since AC Milan will undoubtedly become very profitable, very fast, and potentially one of the most dominant brands in China.

We might need to sell a minority stake to Baidu! :p

If this happens:
- Roma/Napoli better get ready to start playing for Europa.

It would maybe seem credible if Milan weren't being sold to exotic billionaires every year around this time.

Then it'll be fun in the summer when Galliani renews Montolivo for 4 years and extends the Balotelli loan.

Inter has no interest for italian talent, and Milan will be facing to pick up the scraps we left

Both clubs are on massive losses already so hard to see any kind of exorbitant spending if and when they have new owners.
Not to mention diminishing revenue streams for both teams which kinda makes it hard to invest heavily from the get go especially taking ffp into account. If this was PL though,it would've been a different story altogether.
